Loved staying in the bungalows! Private and close to everything. We were in Bungalow 20. Easy walk to pool and close to marina. We hired a buggy and that was awesome to take to go up to watch the sunset. When we arrived on ferry, we were picked up immediately and taken to check in, then taken to Bungalow. So smooth.

Lovely cabins a little off the beaten track in Airlie Beach. Very good value. Had everything you needed except in the budget option, the bathroom is a common facility. Which was kept very clean, and was close to my cabin. Lovely coffee van parked there daily.

Nice room with everything I needed except the WiFi didn’t reach my room! This was the biggest inconvenience ever, I called the late night staff multiple times and nothing.
This is a beautiful place to escape for a week and relax.
This is a beautiful place to escape for a week and relax. Having only buggys and no cars is fantastic.
There is plenty to do. The only problems are 1. Most of the pools aren’t heated in winter, and were too cold to use and 2. It’s a really expensive place to stay. Other than walking & swimming everything costs a lot, so be prepared!
To keep costs down a bit, get a self-contained unit and shop at the IGA.
All the staff on the island were friendly and helpful.

So much to do on Hamo, swim/snorkel, walking, tours to other islands/great barrier reef etc, or do nothing but laze by the beach or pool. Has great beaches, eateries, its own supermarket, buggies or shuttle buses to get your around the island, though we didnt hire a buggy this time, we walked almost everywhere. Best thing is the weather all year round, especially in Winter as I am from Melbourne and quite cold in Winter here- so great to getaway to the sunshine and warmth. We visited mid June and temp was 23-24 degrees everyday with a min low of 20 degrees, and had blue sky sunshine everyday!

Hamilton Island is a great location, we had 5 days and was more than enough to really enjoy everything the island has to offer. It is expensive as a locked in location and while the choices for dinner feel a little limited everything food and drink wise we had was excellent and teh service was impeccable. It is a very modern island with no cash and apps for ordering, there were alternatives but everything felt very easy.
The island itself is very hilly but the buggies and buses are very frequent and easy to access meaninggetting around teh island to any location is very good.
The set up with the sunset bar is a great idea and the views as the sun set was awesome and while it felt very busy there was plenty space for everyone to see teh sunset and get their pictures.
For the more adventurous the trail walks at the end of the island are very much worth the effort, some challanging climbs but the views from Passage peak were totally worth the time and effort and the other routes to the South of the Island also unlock some great locations and brilliant peace and quiet while enjoying the nature.

Hamilton Island is a beautiful part of the world.
Hamilton Island is a beautiful part of the world. The beaches are beautiful. Plenty to do and see with many tour options out of the mariner. The walking/hikes are beautiful, with amazing views HI. It is wonderfully clean and so easy to get around by foot or golf buggy. You will not be disappointed visiting this beautiful island. It is a little pricey but don’t let that deter you, it is well worth it. Plenty of meal options, both high end and family friendly.
Whitehaven beach is breathtakingly beautiful also, another must see tour out of HI

The location was great and the apartment was nice, it would not take much to make it a great experience. The apartment caretakers were exceptional and very responsive to our requests, but could only do as much as the owners would accept. The cracked and chipped crockery was replaced whilst we were there, but only 4 Tumblers. Being used to airbnb experiences where Hosts take pride in their property and value their guests this was a disappointing experience and I would be disinclined to use bookings.com again.
Reasonably clean but in areas of the resort needed a tidy up like we’re there ice machines are cloths washers an most foyers needed a paint . You come down the glass lifts and look at ground level and there is rubbish outside the lift that you a see . Transfers from airport and hotel back to airport well organised and staff happy to help out in every way than can .
The unit was perfect for our group of 7 adults. The unit was well equipped and within walking district of the shops and restaurants on Hamilton Island. A buggy was also provided and this was great to get around the island and visit the beach and lookout.
The location was sensational - views exceptional. As this was our third visit to Hamilton Island (first we stayed at Pinnacle's (not number 5) second trip was at Lagoon, we wanted the nice apartments again (Pinnacle)
Swimming pool looked great for kids and was well-loved by the resort guests. There was an excellent family vibe at the apartments and lots of happy, smiley, content parents enjoying a break from the rat race.
