Portalington is a small cute coastal fishing location. Boats, water and a cute business strip gives it character. Restaurants, cafes facing out to the ocean make them special to experience. The area has many drawcards: Gourmet and Produce - the main! Fresh fish supplies/muscles (BYO Eski and ice),great wineries, Distilleries/Whiskey olive grove and rolling hills, vineyards and blue back drop. I can recommend the Atrium at the pub for dinner, and the bakery for the best morning coffee and almond croissant! It was easy to get around by car. Great cabins with everything you need made available. The down side was not having a view of the sea but the gardens and facilities would be great if you have children. There are numerous wineries and most have good wines but not all opens early. Most open at 11.00am hence would delay in visiting other wineries for tasting. Sea food is very fresh and manage to get fresh oyster for my morning breakfast (had 2 dozens of it). Unfortunately most store dont open for business mondays to wednesday during winter hence have limited time visiting.Guest review byPeng Fui
