Beautiful facilities, comfortable beds. Access to some facilities while waiting for rooms to be ready and for ferry to arrive was greatly appreciated. Quick walk to jetty and plenty of bike storage.

It was clean, comfortable, and good value for the price. We could buy food to cook from the general store; all we needed after a day of cycling. Well done to for great facilities in such salty air!

The location was amazing, right in the heart of Fremantle and easy walking distance to a everywhere we wanted. We were able to easily walk to the harbor to go to Rottnest for a day while the hotel held our bags. The hotel is very cool, and the restaurant area downstairs is very vibey, we would have loved to be able to spend more time there. Overall the room was what we expected, the bed was comfortable, and the place was clean.

What Guests Said About Rottnest Island:

    Rottnest is an absolute gem.

Rottnest is an absolute gem. Apart from the quokkas (which are everywhere), the beaches and the water are picture perfect and absolutely pristine. It is so easy to get there from Perth, it would be a crime not to go there.

Loved the scenery and the Quokkas, Only downfall was the emergency door between rooms that allowed you to hear conversations, tv shows and coughing from next door which took away from trying to relax

A great place to relax and recharge, and get some easy walking and cycling in, as well as snorkellng. Different options for coffee, drinks and meals depending on your budget, group (family, friends, groups). Loved the quokkas and the beaches with virtually no one on them.

Bicycle ride with the family till the tallest light house...

Bicycle ride with the family till the tallest light house was the best! Mother's day lunch at Frankie's was simply delicious! Amazing pizza and good kids menu: (creamy chicken pasta for my fussy eater was a winner) The Nutella donut at the bakery next to general store was a special treat for the kids and they loved it! Quokkars everywhere. They're super cute and friendly. It's not allowed to touch or feed them thou.

The scenery was the best. It's just so beautiful..

The scenery was the best. It's just so beautiful.. Rottnest Island must be kept accessible and affordable. There is now a tendency for prices of accommodation going up in Rottnest Island due to some overpriced hotels. The hop-on hop-off buses were very convenient for moving around. The free walking tours by very knowledgeable volunteer guides is well worth it. More visitors should be encouraged to go on the various walking trails.

A short stay can very easily turn into a longer stay once...

A short stay can very easily turn into a longer stay once you see whats on offer at Rottnest. t’s a casual island with many hidden gems worth exploring. You feel relaxed immediately on arrival, so have an open mind as Rottnest is very different from anything you might have experienced. Wherever you go you will enjoy great food often eaten under the shade of beautiful old trees that form part of the restaurants. The beaches are picturesque and very clean with soft sand to sunbathe on and not overcrowded . The water is Chrystal clear and fun to swim and snorkel in. As for the quokkas they are friendly, beautiful little animals you will see whilst walking or riding around the island. All in all , Rottnest is definitely a place worth visiting.

Beautiful venue, close to the beach. The tent was huge et very comfortable although it can get a little chilly during the night (but additional blankets were already available in the tent so all good 👍). Breakfast was included in our booking and was very good. Gluten free dishes were clearly identified. Plenty of quokkas foraging around !

Extremely overpriced for what it is. Average staff. Booking.com advertised the nightly rate of $700! Per night with breakfast then hotel states no at check in. Terrible support from booking.com to even assist in a resolution.
