The room was spacious and clearly recently renovated. The room was nice and cold as the staff had turned on the AC before our arrival (very thoughtful as it was a 40 degree day). The staff were accommodating and friendly and super helpful during check in and check out.

    A great little town. Friendly store keepers. Lots of goodies to be found. And (most important for me,) the terrain is perfect to leave the car at the hotel and go for a long long walk! We brought our own food - mainly to save the pennies and the facility worked for us.

    Great little town! Loved Bar Musque with tapas. The food was Devine with friendly service. A definite must do for everyone! A Wine Wagon wine tour was good value for money. Stopped at the Saturday markets before heading to four wineries for tastings and lunch was delicious! So much food- all included in the price. Thanks Timo! Had tea at The Clubhouse on Saturday night. Fantastic food. Warm fire and great atmosphere.

    Tanunda is the doorway to Barossa Valley. Best area to stay to explore Barossa Valley. Town has enough facilities and eateries. Information Centre is great, staff there very knowledgeable to advise best way to make use of your time and where to visit etc

    Favourite places were Z Wines, Brothers at War,...

    Favourite places were Z Wines, Brothers at War, RieslingFreak, and Alkina (this last one is a bit out of Tanunda). Bar Musque is great for dinner. Very easy to get around Tanunda - a lot within walking distance. All wineries, restaurants were great as a solo traveller, and there are some cute townships to explore as well.

    The easy access to all the local cellar doors and attractions that the Barossa Valley is renowned for. Tanunda is in the middle of the area with some great winery's a simple walk or bike ride away.

    Tanunda is a nice town but found some of the restaurants charging exorbitant tarrifs. A Day On The Green concert was fantastic. Good position for visiting other Barossa towns. Local taxis were friendly and affordable. Well done the cabbies.

    We stayed in Unit C which was spacious and full of character and also cosy. The unit was clean and fresh with lots of little touches to make it feel like home with lovely houseplants and cooking supplies. The unit was very traditional but updated with a modern boho style of artwork and accessories. The TimTams on arrival was a good touch after a long journey. I didn’t meet Louise but she was a great communicator via text before and after our stay. Well recommended for a stay in Tanunda and for proximity to wineries.

    The location was wonderful - walking distance into the main street of Tanunda. It is directly opposite a school which was a little noisy through the day, but didn't bother us at all. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well provisioned. Off street parking was a bonus and we used the washing machine and clothes line regularly, so it was great to get home and not have to wash all of our clothes. The character of the house is lovely.

    Located in Tanunda, walking distance to the high street with plenty of restaurants and shops. Foodland grocery store is also there. It is a beautiful area with lovely limestone cottages. Villa Maria is a stunning property with 4 bedrooms all with own ensuite. The bedrooms are huge with 10ft high ceilings, all with King beds. Beautiful bacon, eggs and bread were delivered by Tuoi on the day we arrived as well as some yogurt and strawberries.

    Reception was so friendly and professional! Lindy was a wealth of information about Tanunda, what to see and where to eat! Our room (21), was immaculate-no other way to describe it! The swimming pool was sparkling clean. Will most definitely stay again next time l am in Tanunda.
