We had a great room with plenty of space, well decorated, and relaxing. It was close to everything we needed, but also felt like a retreat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent sized bathtub.

Good location and price point, big space - a little dated. No power points near bed in second room had to move the bed to charge my phone overnight. Walkable to the towns cafes, restaurants, wineries and breweries. Liked that we could check in whenever it suited thanks to the lock box.

A lovely little studio with an outdoor courtyard to enjoy on sunny days. Close enough to the center of Tanunda to walk to cellar doors and restaurants. Bed was comfortable and the space was bright and clean. Lots of delicious goodies and a bottle of wine provided by the hosts.

    A great little town. Friendly store keepers. Lots of goodies to be found. And (most important for me,) the terrain is perfect to leave the car at the hotel and go for a long long walk! We brought our own food - mainly to save the pennies and the facility worked for us.

    Great little town! Loved Bar Musque with tapas.

    Great little town! Loved Bar Musque with tapas. The food was Devine with friendly service. A definite must do for everyone! A Wine Wagon wine tour was good value for money. Stopped at the Saturday markets before heading to four wineries for tastings and lunch was delicious! So much food- all included in the price. Thanks Timo! Had tea at The Clubhouse on Saturday night. Fantastic food. Warm fire and great atmosphere.

    Tanunda is the doorway to Barossa Valley. Best area to stay to explore Barossa Valley. Town has enough facilities and eateries. Information Centre is great, staff there very knowledgeable to advise best way to make use of your time and where to visit etc

    Favourite places were Z Wines, Brothers at War,...

    Favourite places were Z Wines, Brothers at War, RieslingFreak, and Alkina (this last one is a bit out of Tanunda). Bar Musque is great for dinner. Very easy to get around Tanunda - a lot within walking distance. All wineries, restaurants were great as a solo traveller, and there are some cute townships to explore as well.

    The easy access to all the local cellar doors and attractions that the Barossa Valley is renowned for. Tanunda is in the middle of the area with some great winery's a simple walk or bike ride away.

    Tanunda is a nice town but found some of the restaurants charging exorbitant tarrifs. A Day On The Green concert was fantastic. Good position for visiting other Barossa towns. Local taxis were friendly and affordable. Well done the cabbies.

    Well equipped kitchen - great fridge, extras like salt, oil, glad wrap really useful Garden outlook lovely at rear (pool also) Super quiet location and 5m walk up to the main street of Tanunda, and for exercise go the other way for scenic walk along to Langmeil road Spacious bedrooms, (nice would be a chest of drawers or something to place items on without being on the floor ) Thought there were no flannels until we discovered the thin bathroom mirror opened up which was where they were !

    This hotel has been refurbished, which is nice, but needed a little more cleaning in the bathroom. It is fairly close to town, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try the restaurant as it was closed both nights. There are also no elevators to get to the second floor, which didn't impact us, but maybe be aware of and ask for a ground floor if you need. Overall, we were happy about our stay.

    Visited for the Barossa Vintage Festival and could not be happier with this place. Right on Goat Square, short walk to main shops in Tanunda. It has been newly renovated with a good little kitchen, KS bed, comfortable lounge area and a new coat of paint. There’s a washing machine and BBQ available too. We stayed in the 1 bedroom but there’s also a studio and 2 bedroom.

    We stayed the night for the A Day On the Green festival and it was perfect. The room was nice, very clean and spacious. Great facilities. The staff were lovely. Would highly recommend The Wine Vine Hotel for a weekend getaway.
