Featuring 5 restaurants, a full service spa, and an indoor heated pool, this Kananakis lodge is within a 30-minute drive of Canmore city center. The Nordic Spa was great. We appreciated the complimentary upgrade because we were on our honeymoon. Early check in was nice and late check out was great.
Crosswaters Resort in Kananaskis Village features a tennis court, a fitness center and a bar. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with access to 4 restaurants and a pub.... Everything close to amenities and a grand piano to enjoy playing in the lobby!
Offering a restaurant and bar on site, Mount Engadine Lodge is located in Spray Valley Provincial Park in Kananaskis. A scenic view of the mountains is available. Free WiFi access is provided. Mount Engadine Lodge is nothing short of exceptional. It is literally in the middle of nowhere where there is frequently no sound at all. The lodge is tasteful, which is a breath of fresh air in itself and food is top drawer. No prepackaged plastic muck here. Clientele are middle class adventure types, very polite and friendly. The staff, especially Andrew are incredibly kind and helpful. Engadine is tremendous value for money - I don't know how they do it. I just wish there were more places around like this!
Located on Pigeon Mountain, this resort features a pool and indoor/outdoor hot tubs. A fireplace and a balcony with mountain views are offered in cottages. Lake Louise is 1 hour’s drive away. The house (number 15) is quite cozy and comfortable for a family of 6. There is one bedroom on the first floor, another bedroom on the second floor and a sofa in the living room. The house has two bathrooms (on both floors). The kitchen is equipped very well, it was a pleasure to cook there. There is a spacious patio with table, chairs and BBQ machine, where you can enjoy your meal. The neighborhood is very quiet and you can watch the stars at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Almost no mosquitious. We will be back one day!
Located within the Copperstone Resort building, Rocky Mountain Getaway offers accommodations in Dead Man's Flats. The property is 5 mi from Canmore and free private parking is offered. We really enjoyed the size of the unit as a well as location. Our unit was clean and updated and wouldn’t hesitate to come back here or recommend to others.
Set in Dead Man's Flats, 9.9 mi from Kananaskis Village, Copperstone Resort offers a fitness center and free WiFi. The accomadations were very clean and we really liked having a full kitchen. The staff were all extremely helpful and professional. We have stayed here before and will be back again.
Featuring a fitness center, a garden, and a tennis court, Copperstone Resort - Mountain View 2 Bedroom Condo provides accommodations in Canmore with free WiFi and pool views. The extra care and attention our host provided. Fine details that made it feel like home.
Located just off the Trans-Canada Highway in the community of Dead Man’s Flats, this motel is surrounded by the scenic Canadian Rocky Mountains. It features free Wi-Fi access. Very quaint, clean, and friendly staff. The price is really amazing, very cheap for a great stay. Anything extra we needed was no problem, the staff was amazing.
I loved the Chalet look of the rooms in Mount Kidd. The kids swimming area is really for under 9 years of age. The steam room is super hot, benches are uncomfortablely hot wet stone. Hot tub is warm. Outdoor dry sauna is cool. the fitness room is great as is the table tennis. The restaurants are booked up fast, but take out is an option. They have Cross country ski and skate rentals. I personally would stay not stay again as we live only one hour away. The outdoor activities are amazing which is why we would in the future come for the day and evening only.
It was very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Even though there was so much nature outside to explore we loved staying in our room with the fireplace and enjoying the view. We did get out and skate on the small rink in the centre of the village. The village is very romantic for couples but still perfect for families.
This was my 8th time staying at the Kananaskis Village and each time it gets better and better. We had a magical time and it was perfect for our Mom's 60th Birthday and Retirement celebrations. The most wonderful weekend ever!
My only complaint is waking up to all the room doors banging so early in the morning... Pls consider soft close room doors for your guest out here to relax ...it's very disturbing if you aren't getting up at that hour
Kananaskis Village is set in a spectacular area. Lots to do if you are an outdoor enthusiast. The food establishments are really very good. Something for everyone. The room we had was nice but needed a good scrubbing. The coffee in the room was the worst ever. I liked the staff very much, everyone was helpful and friendly.
Beautiful place, quiet and very private. We travelled at night though. It was too dark and the only help were the reflectors. I appreciate it is so to preserve fhe feel of wilderness and nature but at least there should be a lamp post on turning points.
