EVERYTHING except the fact that they don't tell you the Cool Living location isn't in the same area as the others but the food, the staff, the infrastructure and building model concept. Not the location I anticipated but the staff made stay amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BEDSSS ARE SOOOO COMFORTABLE. Definitely going back and sending others. Martha, Camilla, Sergio, Daniel Divina... the entertainment crew.. LOVE YOU ALLLL

We loved Soul! The apartment was great, with everything one needs for a few days' stay. The kitchen is very well furnished and the washing machine + tumble dryer is a ++. The coffee we got as present was AMAZING! The staff was great and the area is really clean, safe, green and it's a pleasure to walk around. I had read someone commenting that it doesn't feel safe to walk around unless you're a local and I'm wondering if the person had mistaken this hotel with another one. Because all you need are legs that are willing to take you around. It's a residential area where I never felt unsafe for a single second. There's a good supermarket, Carulla, almost behind the corner, and - if you feel like walking a bit longer, an hypermarket inside a shopping center about 15 mins away. The parking is another ++. We really enjoyed our stay and we'll book again if we visit Medellín in the future.

    I'm here to stay, it's a lovely city so much to see and do, good people, you have to stay safe still and be careful, the mountain views are so nice there waterfall a, 🚠 line to see everything much better, paragliding is not too far, botanical garden and amusement park, many many malls very luxurious with giant arcade, movie theater, gyms, tennis court, soccer field , many coffee shops very sweet , if you rent a car you could go see the wild nature and enjoy more

    So many places to visit, so little time.

    So many places to visit, so little time. Everyone on the streets were very welcoming and ready to provide directions or assist. Great relaxing culture with amazing restaurants. We will stay longer next time! We visited during the week of Festival of the Flowers and that was a bonus! Many places like plaza Provenza as a plus!

    The hotel is kind of new one (6 months) very good service, breakfast was so good, customer service was very good. the only negative comment is that the hallways did not have air conditioner and while you walked through to go to the room it was like walking outside on the street, absolutely hot. the other think is they did not have ice machine. I visited the place 2 days before the staying and I asked the girl that work in the cafeteria if they had ice to take to the room and she said NOT. I cannot believe with that temperature and no ICE?... well the day I checked in I bought ice in Market 3 blocks away and solved the problem... But the place is nice, my room had good air conditioner and the jacuzzi was an extra amenity; I think the jacuzzi is a little high, literally you have to jump to get down, maybe if they place a little step to get in and out.

    What a diverse place, didn’t realize how big it was. You definitely need to get a taxi or Uber to get around. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, lovely people even when language was a barrier . Lots of museums and things to do, Jardin Botanical was free and very beautiful. Parque Explora would be great for kids. Comuna 13 also worth a visit to find the street vendors and escalators

    Medellin has so much to offer. What an amazing city!

    Medellin has so much to offer. What an amazing city! Being an Interior Designer, I was truly inspired by all the restaurants and cafes and I loved that Medellin allows nature to be heavily in the mix throughout the city, malls and bars. That to me was the most outstanding thing.

    Nice place to visit, amazing weather and friendly people. Make sure to visit Octava Maravilla to get a great glimpse of city best time to go would be around sunset. Getting around is pretty easy with taxis.

    This hotel in a "real" neighbourhood in Medellin, was comfortable, clean and friendly. The bed and sheets were top quality. The room was small, but had room to store our clothes and suitcases. The staff were excellent, and like so many others we have met in Colombia, very friendly. The neighbourhood is full of families going about their lives, with great fruit stands and grocery stores nearby. We walked everywhere, even back to Poblado to sample a restaurant we had missed the previous visit. An interesting neighbourhood.

    Perfect location in Belen Colombia. Right around the corner form the Los Molinos Mall. Beautiful city nice and flat. Close to the center of Medellin but far enough away from the chaos. The host was perfect and very nice - total class! Room had everything needed. Basically a bachelors pad. Fast Wifi, Mini Split super cold air. and yes HOT WATER. Fridge, Microwave etc. Larger shower. Nicely decorated room. Planing to return in August for some festivals in Medellin and Bogota- will stay here again if available

    I escaped back to Akela Park Hotel after having a bad experience in an Airbnb in Palomino. I came back as I really enjoyed my previous stay and it was great once again..Thanks everyone, I was also allowed to check out a bit later, which I appreciated. Akela Park Hotel has the most comfy beds I have encountered throughout my stay in Colombia so far. If I go once again to Medellin, I'll be back for a third time :)

    The hotel is locaced in very good neighbourhood of Medellin called El Poblado so you have some of the coolest places in the city nearby. The breakfast was delicious and the view of the entire Medellin is stunning from the breakfast room at the top of the building!
