Johnathan was amazing. He brought our bags to our room, then gave us a free upgrade when we requested a window. The hotel is spotless. The rooms are simple, but the beds are very comfortable and so are the towels. The breakfast is made to order, and excellent. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in town. We had a wonderful stay at this finca — a perfect escape from San Rafael, surrounded by breathtaking nature. It’s a family-owned place with a peaceful and authentic atmosphere, offering everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing experience: spacious grounds, a beautiful hammock deck with panoramic views, a pool, and access to nearby trails for hiking. Ana was incredibly friendly and responsive while helping us organize the trip, and a fantastic host once we arrived. She even took us on a lovely walk and shared the rich history of her family and their connection to the land. Everything at the finca is thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind, and you can really feel their commitment to preserving nature. We had great conversations, and Gianluca prepared us a delicious breakfast each morning! The entire family — Ana’s mom, uncle, and everyone we met — made us feel so welcome. It truly felt like home, while offering the chance to disconnect and immerse ourselves in nature. We’re so happy to have supported a local family business with such a beautiful vision for Colombia. We’ll definitely visit again when in San Rafael!
