Beachfront experience in one of the best parts of Costa Rica ! It is very quiet and not busy except for about an hour every day when lots of tourists boats come to use the beach and watch the sunset before the bioluminescence tours …. But we just wade in or take a paddle board out when they leave and watch the show from our own personal beach.

We liked the hotel, the garden, our room (as it was facing this garden with a beautiful view) and especially the terrace with lots of plants. Also the location was perfect and the staff very nice. Also the breakfest was very tasty. If staying in Montezuma, this is the best place to stay. We were happy with our choice.

We loved everything about our 3-night stay here. The room was spacious and tranquil (we had requested one facing the pool, not the road), and we could get to the pool just by going up some steps. Their aircon system was evidently clean, because it smelt as fresh as a daisy, and was used all the time while we were in the room because it was so hot and humid while we were there in July. The staff - Larissa and Gabriel - were really informative and helpful, we were made to feel welcome and loved the coffee 'on tap' in the mornings! We saw so much wildlife, mainly monkeys and iguanas, in the trees sitting by the pool, it was amazing! It was like a peaceful haven surrounded by jungle, right in the middle of Montezuma and within easy reach of everywhere - we loved it and would highly recommend.

We stayed at Hotel Tajalin for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is ideally situated in a peaceful area, yet close to key attractions like the beach, town center, and waterfalls. The staff were exceptional—friendly and welcoming. They provided comprehensive information about local attractions and arranged tours with local agencies, including Isla Tortuga, Bioluminescence, and Snorkeling. Cindy, one of the staff members, offers Spanish and English classes. I took a Spanish class with her, which was incredibly helpful in refreshing my language skills. The rooms and shared kitchen were spotless. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Tajalin to anyone visiting Montezuma.
