Incredible location, literally being on the beach to have breakfast or watch a sunset makes a difference... the place is very quiet and gives a feeling of security. The room was very nice and clean. It has become our new regular place to stay when we return to the area.

This place is a beautiful oasis of peace and tranquility. The log cabin style rooms are really well layed out with great bathrooms with hot water and a cute little kitchen and fridge. They have high quality soaps and hair products. The balcony and hammock were an awesome place to hang out and watch the waves down below. They seem to have thought of all the little things like higher quality toilet paper and an umbrella to use and lots of window shades. The yoga studio is amazing and they run 4 classes a day so it’s easy to find one that fits your schedule with lots of different and awesome teachers. The cafe serves healthy and delicious food and has a great atmosphere with chill vibe overlooking the pacific! The on site owners and all the staff are amazing and friendly!

Absolutely Outstanding Stay – for me and my entire family! A Perfect Experience from Start to Finish I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything I needed—including a super comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and a great view. Housekeeping was consistent and meticulous, and every detail felt thoughtful and intentional. also really appreciated the quiet and calm atmosphere throughout the hotel, making it easy to relax and recharge. Minutes away from great restaurants and the beach! Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely be returning!

    We had a fantastic time at the beach this weekend!

    We had a fantastic time at the beach this weekend! It’s perfect for surfing with super cool waves. However, be cautious if you’re traveling with kids. The beach wasn’t too crowded, and there are several restaurants right in front, so you don’t need to leave the beach for food and drinks. I really enjoyed that convenience!

    Americanized beach town. Crowded waters to surf. Really bad infrastructure, roads are bad, no sidewalks and caos in traffic. The beach itself is very beautiful and the waves are nice. Just the vibe is either you love it or you hate it.

    Santa Teresa for us was a completely disastrous in terms of development. I cannot even imagine anyone wanting to live there. The scenery once you get beyond the mishmash of stores 3 centimeters from the really poor roads is wonderful. It is a surfer place and nothing more. I would not ever go back for any reason

    Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach.

    Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach. There are so many places to eat that have great food. Santa Teresa does not feel as crowded as some other beaches in Costa Rica, and I honestly feel very safe there. I would highly recommmend this place.

    The property is amazing.

    The property is amazing. The pool is super cute, the rooms are spacious and modern. BUT the Beach Club/Restaurant charged us for things we didn’t order. We will always pay for everything we eat and drink but when things are added on our bills that we didn’t consume, we regretfully are super bitter. The hotel is looking into it and said they will get back to us. They have t yet. Also, they advocate that they are an adult only hotel but there were kids at the restaurant and at pool.

    Wonderful hotel on a great location and with super friendly owners who make sure to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Yoga on location is so convenient and they were very helpful in organizing a perfect surf lesson for us. It is on the pricier side but you can make use of the facilities to make some of your own meals so for us it was definitely worth it. The whole experience really made our trip to Santa Teresa extra special.

    I love that the hotel is close to Santa Teresa beach, but still quiet. Everything is super clean and well kept, and you can also rent boards and get surf lessons. Everyday there is a small, but tasty breakfast. All the people who work at Lucero are so kind and helpful, which made the stay even better. I will definitely come back!

    The property was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We had a spacious room, which was wonderful after our travels, and we even received an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The location was ideal, situated in the heart of Santa Teresa, close to both the beach and various restaurants. The staff was also very helpful.
