Barcelona is a really beautiful place. Language barrier was definitly there however people do know basic English. We ate at the Maremagnum. A really fun city to explore, with no shortage of things to do and see and eat! We got around easily on the trams, busses, and taxis, and hop on/off busses. Really recommend booking attractions in advance, even if a few days before as they can sell out on the day in peak summer season. We booked a tour for the Sagrada Familia including going up the tower which was amazing. Casa Vicens was also gorgeous and has inspired us to redecorate our garden at home! The food was also affordable and delicious, our favorite tapas was Cerveceria Catalana for sit-down, and Bo de B for super delicious, affordable sandwiches and salads.Guest review byJoannaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Barcelona is one of our favourite cities. Although it is quite pricey, the vibe is amazing. The food scene is amazing, with Iberian hams on freshly-baked, crusty rolls a firm "Must Have"! We also felt quite safe walking around, as there was a quite visible police presence.
