We thought it was a fabulous house, full of lovely touches. We had a very comfortable stay, the beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. Our host was so lovely, she did lots to accommodate us. We would definitely recommend it. The living room has a really comfy sofa. It's a very modern and clean house. I would say it's a great place to stay. 👍

The hotel is located a few miles outside Abergavenny, easy to find on a main road. It has a large car park at the front and is set well back so not much traffic noise .Food is typical pub grub and reasonably priced. We had a good meal and an excellent bottle of wine.

We were in Abergavenny to attend a wedding and at the time we stayed it was a vibrant and clean town. with residents taking pride in making the town looking good with flowers everywhere. Lots of independant shops, live music in local bars, and is central for exploring the region by foot, and car. Narrow roads could be an issue for cyclists.

Abergavenny is a gorgeous town set amongst the mountains.

Abergavenny is a gorgeous town set amongst the mountains. It has an excellent assortment of shops, restaurants, a theatre and cinema. Also a lovely old market hall which has a variety of different themed markets each week. There is beautiful countryside around the town where you can do walking, cycling, visit old castles and the Brecon Beacons national park. Highly recommended for a visit!

The Granary was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we could have needed. We loved the peaceful location. There are a number of good pubs to eat in the very local area. We tried the Cripple Creek and the Chain bridge - both excellent. Abergavenny is a lovely market town to visit nearby, plus there is plenty of good walking in the area. Ben and Julia were extremely helpful with directions, the Welsh cakes and the availability of free range eggs was a bonus. We will definitely revisit - thank you!

The hotel was really clean and had everything you need for a short stay. It was super cosy and warm which was lovely as it was such a cold weekend! Qe had curry in their restaurant downstairs which was one of the best curries we’ve both had. We had breakfast included and it was really delicious with generous portion sizes. We also spent the evening in the pub underneath the hotel which was also great fun. We liked everything about this hotel and couldn’t recommend it enough!

Ideally located a little outside of Abergavenny and therefore very quiet and practical for discovering all interesting places. Carol is an exceptional host making sure that our stay was just perfect. Why go to a five star hotel when you can stay at Hardwick farm instead? Our room had all the amenities and more. The home cooked breakfast was great and plentiful. The king bed was comfy and huge. Carol made up the room every day, supplied us with water and welsh cakes.

Beautifully decorated and furnished house, lovely and clean and perfect for a family of four. Instructions for check in and out were very clear. Hosts were very kind and left snacks for us - the Welsh cakes were great! Parking was very simple of the driveway at the front of the house. And as a bonus the views of the area surrounding Abergavenny were stunning. An amazing place all round!

The Abergavenny Hotel is situated on the road into town, easy walking distance to the high Street with other bars and restaurants, but to be honest Ffion the manager runs a great bar in the evening with some superb cocktails - so we tended to relax with a few drinks there.
