Located in Andover, The John Russell Fox Wetherspoon features a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything! The John Russell Fox was as good as many 4-star hotels I've stayed in. Okay, there aren't all the frills, like room service, etc., but being a 'Spoons', you'll not find a better brekkie in town anyway!

The Star and Garter is set in the heart of the market town of Andover. The hotel dates back to the 1700s, and offers a hot and cold buffet breakfast and free WiFi. Front office was very nice. Printed off some Covid related forms for me at the front desk. And very helpful with advice on other stuff.

Andover
Located in Andover, White Horse Inn provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and a garden. Winchester is 22 miles from the bed and breakfast, while Basingstoke is 27 miles away. Lovely stay. The twin room was amazing! So much space and a lovely sofa in the corner. The accommodation is quite separate from the pub so it was very quiet and everything we needed was readily available. Would highly recommend. Great location as well. The A303 is virtually inaudible even though it's almost right above you and a supermarket is just 10mins down the A303. It's great to have found somewhere relatively close to Bath, which we're likely to visit fairly frequently, where wecan check into if need be in the future! Thanks a lot! :)

Andover needs massive investment. Go to Wetherspoons and you will see how far the town has gone down. I would not recommend Andover for a visit. Coffee 1 was very nice. Very clean, good service and excellent cakes. Lots of Charity shops !!! Not a good sign. It means the place is run down.
Only stayed one night. Very accessible from A303 Visited Lytes Carey Manor (NT) before continuing my journey to Suffolk. Called in for coffee at village pub. It was undrinkable! Did not return for dinner. Can't remember pub in neighbouring village that was excellent.
Nice cosy small town. Not crowed people, which is good in this corona event. Nice walk couple hours, nature, river, cathedral, etc enjoyed diner and breakfast at weather spoon where we stay. Took a bus 30min and went to Bombay sapphire distillery tour from 4pm-. Lovely experience, and enjoyed few Gin and tonic with my bf. There is worth to visit. X unique building with history, aromatic and colorful you'll see. Next day we off to Winchester for Christmas Market. It was lovely week end x
The indoor shops were nice, Weatherspoons breakfast excellent. The square was quaint but not recommended at night as there were crowds of youngsters outside most of the night really noisy and drinking.
Great place to stay with an excellent breakfast, a bar and free parking. Although they have no evening chef for meals anymore, they supplied cutlery and plates for any take-aways, and let us eat in the bar or lounge areas. Lovely friendly and helpful staff Very close to all the restaurants and take-aways in Andover town centre
Breakfast is the only good thing about this hotel. We were only staying over night and was so grateful for that as I wouldn't want to spend any more time there. Ryan seamed to be the only staff and he was doing his best but trying to keep up with all the first needs was clearly too much. Having said that the guy deserves a pay rise. Other than that, the receptionist was grumpy, the bed uncomfortable and there s no food available. They advertise, light snacks, bar food and a restaurant but when we arrived we were told there was no chef and no food available. Not what you want to hear after a long day and 5 hour drive
Andover
In I stayed at Staggs Cottage for one night as I was visiting nearby relatives in Andover. I cannot fault my stay. Everything was spotless and my room was very cosy with stunning views over the countryside. Jane cooked the most amazing breakfast in the morning and nothing was too much trouble. Can't recommend enough!
Another Fantastic Hotel we found.... Room 111 was beautiful - My wife was very pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The hotel obliged by placing a bottle of prosecco and 2 glasses in the room Bed was very comfortable - Bathroom was spotless Breakfast was also great
Tomas is a first class host, super attentive and reactive to any minor tweaks or changes to enhance the stay. I have been staying with him since he began and he provides the best service of all the apartments available in Andover.
The hotel is in the centre of the town so it’s very convenient for socialising. Despite this the rooms were quiet and looked to have recently been refurbed. Overall I was very impressed with the quality for the price.
Amazingly decorated/designed hotel. The room was spacious (in fact there were two rooms - a bedroom and a sitting one). The food in their pub was delicious and very well served.
Breakfast was good with plenty of options. When I booked I looked at reviews and was aware the hotel was cheap and cheerful.
Andover
an amazing hotel, in a beautiful village, in the middle of the countryside. A hotel for all dog lovers.
Andover
We knew that there would be no breakfast but it seems a bit strange not to give that option in a hotel
