Beautiful property, close to family we were visiting.
Anthony was very accommodating about a late checkin due to our flight being delayed coming6 hours, and also our early departure time.

Lovely place and atmosphere. Room was clean and comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful and always had a smile. Meals and breakfast was lovely and very good quality. Lovely bar area with the olde worldly feel.

We liked the ambience and the inn-like approach to hospitality.

The road system in Aylesbury was undergoing significant maintenance and the hotel wrote to us before we arrived to advise that the town should be avoided. For this reason we didn’t go into the town but the surrounding countryside was magnificent.

The bell hotel was comfortable however I left my charger and phone lead in the room when I asked for it to be posted to me , it got complicated I had to send an addressed envelope to them by post I offered to pay if they just post it to me and they ignored me for this reason customer service was a let down . Very simply could have charged me 3 £ and posted it but they ignored my request and kept my charger and lead

The Chilterns turned out to be a lovely area for a Spring stay, especially if you like woodlands, walking and wild flowers. There were countless good places to eat – we chose The Oak in Aston Clinton, where the food was super, and a takeaway Chinese meal from China Water, which was exceptionally good and not at all expensive. There was plenty to do for non-wakers as well – the museum in Aylesbury is very interesting, for example.

Aylesbury has a lot to offer with a good town centre and outdoor market stalls.
There is a well laid out theatre and the cinema, they are both in walking distance from the centre.
Aylesbury is clean. It is mainly a flat city so it's a good place to walk.
There's a great selection of schools fir all ages..they have great scores from the education department.
The worse thing is the number of roundabouts but it helps with road safety looking at the statistics.

What a beautiful place.
What a beautiful place. So much going on with the theatre, markets, shops, bars, restaurants. The place was buzzing with an incredible ambiance for arts and culture.
It has a diverse community and the locals are so friendly. The David Bowie statue didn’t disappoint. I cannot wait to return for a weekend.

I was brought up in Aylesbury but have not lived there for about 30 years. The place has expanded considerably and every person we spoke to - 6 companies - all said that it had expanded too fast and badly lacked amenities... Doctors/Dentists/ Schools etc
3 groups said that whilst housing was a bit cheaper than London, many workers used Aylesbury as a commuter dormitory.
Personally I cannot comment as I am not there long enough
We were in Aylesbury for a wedding and the hotel was really close to the venue and very good value for money. the staff were really friendly and accommodating, even booking us a taxi to the wedding after we had arrived. the room was spacious, airy and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. the area is lovely and it was very quiet as well. would definitely stay again.
excellent location for Aylesbury train and in the centre so easy for parking at a cheap cost.
rooms were massive and lived roomed 207 as had a walk in shower.
staff was brilliant as we got back very late from a concert and have my friend squat and no charge and was really nice and helpful
We lovely everything about this hotel. Staff were great, room was lovely, overlooking the pretty back garden and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.
