The modern rooms at the 4-star Crown Hotel feature interactive LCD TVs with in-house movies and music. There is free private parking, and the restaurant offers a locally-sourced menu. Staff was extremely friendly & professional. Restaurant squeezed us in even though it was late. The room was very well presented and spacious. The bar man was excellent. Nothing was too much, they gave us a fan because it was a little hot, extra pillows and towels. It was all round fantastic.
Less than 20 minutes’ drive from Doncaster, this converted barn dates back to the 18th century and has a private garden and tranquil surroundings. Everything about Home Farm & Lodge. From a friendly welcome when we arrived to the room and facilities. It was better than expected and look forward to staying again soon xx

Located in Doncaster, just 9.3 mi from Cusworth Hall, Dean House - Perfect place for business or leisure traveling provides accommodations with water sports facilities, a terrace and free WiFi. They property was perfect for us! We had taken my elderly parents away for the weekend, and it was in a quiet Cul-de-sac. It was clean with lots of little added touches. Firstly when you book the host will call you to see if you have any special requests or requirements and will accommodate anything she is able to. After a 6 hour drive all I wanted was a cup of tea, so to arrive and find milk in the fridge ready and some muffins on the side with a welcome note, was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend foe both the property and the hosts! On the day of arrival you will receive a message with all the information you require to get to the property and how to get in; it couldn’t have been simpler!
The small market town is lovely and is all lit up at night. Plenty of wine bars with nice places to eat, we went into 4 different places and they were all furnished and decorated to a high stantard, the menus were good. There are lots of independent shops on the high street and 2 pretty arcades with the same. The people are friendly
Small and interesting town with historical interest. We stayed in the Crown Hotel - an old venue which has been modernised. The bar was open late which was good as we returned from a party and fancied a night cap. Parking in the town overnight is expensive,
The hotel is nice and modern with comfortable rooms. The food was really nice although it is a bit overpriced. The cheapest thing on the menu is £15 for either a salad or a ciabatta. The rooms are lovely just a shame about the mattress as they are memory foam and far too soft and not comfortable when you move around. Doesn’t support the back.
The town was very busy. It had plenty of atmosphere and there wasn't a shortage of bars and restaurants. We enjoyed eating at the China Rose restaurant where the food was excellent. The only problem we encountered was the struggle to get a taxi as the Doncaster Races were on and this made it particularly difficult, which we didn't envisage.
Busy little town with lots individual shops and cafes etc all providing for casual customer or locals.tribute evening at the Chinese restaurant top act and food quite good and plentiful with some nice places for a pre drink or after meal refreshment.Good for any age group.
Really good and it’s getting better we visit 2/3a year for the past 10 years so we see the difference and enjoy the shopping and bars but disappointed with our stay in the crown hotel felt it was overpriced for what we paid.
