Rachel is a superhost. She makes sure everything is alright at the cottage before we checked in and during our stay. The cottage is extremely well managed, with attention to details, spacious with a terrace, the bed is comfortable and we did have good sleep after long hours drive. The kitchen is fully equipped and clean. The location is ideal for us for trips both to Brecons Beacon and Tenby. I highly recommended the Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages.

Location superb in town center. Cleanliness of hotel exceptional. Pub annex to hotel wonderful with a terrace ! Staff friendly. And value is unbelievable. Price of room fabulous. I really had no expectations at all coming in.Was in Neath to visit with an old friend. Hotel far exceeded my expectations.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Cilbrwyn and it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Bob and Olha, who made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and immaculate with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cilbrwyn is a 140-year-old property that has been lovingly restored by Bob to an amazing level. The attention to detail in every aspect of the property is truly remarkable and adds to the charm and character of the place. Bob and Olha are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a memorable stay. Their warmth and hospitality are second to none, and we felt like part of the family during our time at Cilbrwyn. The location of the property is perfect for exploring the beautiful Swansea Valley and surrounding areas, with the Brecon Beacons and Gower Peninsula within easy reach. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and provided the perfect end to our stay. The view from the breakfast table was breathtaking and added to the overall experience. We cannot recommend Cilbrwyn highly enough and look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you Bob and Olha for an unforgettable stay!

    A fantastic place to spend the bank holiday weekend.

    A fantastic place to spend the bank holiday weekend. It was a well laid out cottage, perfect for a couple with dogs. The little garden and patio was well kept and because the other cottages were close by it didn't feel like we were in the middle of no where. Very easy to get to big supermarkets, pubs and walk in the nearby villages/towns if you have a car. The owners were pleasant, helpful and thoughtful. There is a short safe lead free circular walk for the dogs if you don't fancy heading out. If you do there are many long trails for the most energetic of dogs. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even tea and coffee available but if you actually want to prepare a meal there is limited crockery and no basics like salt or oil. As it's a dog friendly cottage it would have been great to have some dog bowls for food/water. The sofa unfortunately is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The toilet wasn't throughly cleaned when we arrived.
