I loved my 6 nights at Dunmore. Lauren Maggie Sarah and Samantha were wonderful. Lauren helped me with my heavy suitcase 🙏 , made me a meal and brought it to my room after I arrived there late, exhausted and hungry after 12 hours travelling....such kindness. I loved chatting to the girls at breakfast. The Hotel is gorgeous ... my beautiful room was spotless ... even decaf coffee supplied ... big comfy bed....lovely chairs...soft fluffy towels, huge bathroom and bath with a view of the squirrels playing in the gardens☺️. The breakfasts were delicious. I did not want to leave and I still miss them all and that beautiful place. Thankyou all ..it was a joy. 🥰

We were running late, the manager went out of her way to wait for us. She was great. We saw her the next day & she was really nice! We enjoyed talking to her.

Dollar is very well located for spending 6 days exploring Edinburgh and surroundings specially Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Falkland, St Andrews....etc and lots of trails for good hiking within less than an hour by car like The Hermitage or even trails starting from Dollar itself.

We had a restful, long weekend.

We had a restful, long weekend. We were cosy and warm and there were plenty walks for doggo! Easy access to Stirling, Perth, Edinburgh, Fife, Glasgow and South Lanarkshire! Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument, The Kelpies, Falkirk and Alva Glen are all close by, motorway travel is close by too! Mcd's at Alloa very clean and friendly and plenty shopping all around. The services of motorway at Stirling has a Greggs and we love a Cherry Bakewell Muffin and coffee! Restful, cosy weekend with all facilities in the lodge and friendly hosts!

We will be back,,the most super village,,cafes,,pub,,delicatessens,,people very friendly,,co op little supermarket excellent,,pretty hanging baskets everywhere,,being taken down the day we left 11/9/22. Lots of walkers,,a museum,,ultra pretty,,views of the hills,,a little gem.

Beautiful houses we took our 5 daughters and there partners and two granddaughters and were a bit apprehensive as there was lots of bodies but worked out perfect it was so spacious we weren't on top of each other we would definitely recommend

We loved this place. The lodge itself is comfortably kitted out with all you need for a perfect stay and is a 15-20 min walk from the centre of Dollar. The welcome pack with bacon, eggs, haggis, milk, coffee pods etc was a great touch. Every room was spotless. Both daughters and husband loved the hottub in our enclosed garden area while I enjoyed the large decking area overlooking the river. Great to see regular visits from a pair of herons at the river, although it took us a day to work out it was 2 herons as they visited separately 🤓.

The apartment is great: spacious, clean, vey good for 4 people, kitchen perfectly equipped, really comfortable. Irene is super helpful and it is right on top a supermarket (Coop) with all you may need for a regular shopping. Dollar is very well located for daily tours to Stirling, Edinburgh, Perth....etc and very close to very interesting hiking trails in The Hermitage. Worthy to mention that right from the door of the apartment you can hike several beautiful easy and moderate trails.

Amazing property in a beautiful location in Dollar. Very clean with comfortable beds and a vast amount of kitchen essentials. We come here every year and the host Johnny is an amazing host. Highly recommended.

The property was rather like a tardis! Once inside it was extremely spacious, very well decorated and everything we needed was catered for. The location in Dollar is superb with everything a short walk away.
