A very nice hotel with a great staff. When we arrived I told my name and was given a package with our key, WiFi password and breakfast information immediately, everything was ready. The staff helped us bring our bicycles to a storage room where they were locked overnight. Dinner was excellent! The wait staff were very nice. The photographs in the bar area are worth a visit alone.

Eastbourne is lovely, access to the beach is easy. Lots to entertain the younger members of the family. Interesting variety of shops although street parking or multi-storey are quite expensive. Top tip - download the NCP app, parking is half price!

Some good hotels and shopping but a lot of tired looking places needing a lick of paint. Beware of Traffic Wardens who were out at 8.00am Sunday morning checking vehicles had paid for parking. The Langham Hotel on the esplanade provides good food and accommodation at a reasonable price.

It has a huge shopping centre and plenty of places to eat and drink. A couple of theatres and a bandstand with musical events, weather permitting. A little train which was fun to ride and gave us a good view from one end of the town to the other. It was difficult to cross over the main road to the beach in places as there didn't seem to be any pedestrian crossings or many traffic lights.

Lovely town, chilled with a great vibe. Don’t expect wild parties but if you’re after some live music and a pint you will not be disappointed- we enjoyed a band performance on a pier in the afternoon followed by Phil Collins tribute in the evening. There are also some great walking routes if that’s your thing! We will definitely be back next summer!

We loved Eastbourne and it’s a great base from which to explore the South Downs. Very scenic bus route along the coast to Brighton from right outside the hotel. The town centre is undergoing upgrades, so appearance is not as usual. I would say Eastbourne is great for older people like us but perhaps not so much for youngsters. Live music several times a week at the Bandstand for tribute acts etc.

The beach although it is a stone beach would recommend taking seats to sit on. Plenty if places to buy cold drinks and ice creams. There seemed to be a lot of road closures and diversions which took you away from the beach front. Not a lot to do with children.

The room itself was clean and the sheets were crisp white and the TV and shower worked.... So that was good. The two people we saw working there were pleasant and l friendly. It was cheaper than staying in the Premier in and right on the seafront so perfect eastbourne location. Parking was available but you had to find it in the backstreets behind the hotel

We stayed for the airshow, perfect small hotel in Eastbourne right on the seafront. You will pay far more at neighbouring corporate hotels. But you won't get the perfect friendly family service West Rocks Townhouse provides. Best views of the aircraft and fireworks. Just loved it, pet friendly, great breakfast bag. Seriously, I can't fault it!

A beautifully decorated and well kept hotel that is very reasonably priced. The owner was quite simply a top man and I would not hesitate to stay here again. I travel to Sussex regularly for work and out of the hotels in Eastbourne that I have stayed in, the East Beach Hotel is by far the best. Credit to them for doing such a great job 👏🏼😁
