Excellent location in the middle of town! And a short walk to our friends home. The hotel is very clean and looks to have been updated recently but kept it's old world charm. The staff is beyond kind! Our room with two single beds and a bay window was extremely large. Being that it is a very old building, you can hear every creak from the room above us. Our room was the first floor by the road, so it was also quite noisy, but none of that bothered us. I would stay here again! I should also add that the restaurant is quite good and we enjoyed breakfast each day.

The staff alone made the night stay wonderful. After the long night, kept the bar open for us longer than she needed to so we could rest and enjoy. Had delicious tikka masala and beer here. They have a charm with their slot machines and jukebox that is more delightful after a pint or two. Rooms were clean, Bathroom was spacious. Checkin and checkout was no friction. Will stay here again.

Lovely location, walk to town and beaches was convenient and as described (a bit steep…but for this 55 year old from CA not bad). Clean rooms, professional and kind staff, beautiful grounds.

The staff is awesome, attentive and lovely all the times! The hotel is an old house, but very beautiful, near the beach front. The room is small, but very cosy. So is the bathroom. We had a pleasant night. The hotel has a pub and à restaurant, which was great for us, as we had a long day driving with rain at time of arrival ( it was already dark). They have parking as well. We recommend the hotel.

Beautiful views, nice food and friendly staff

Conveniently located in the beautiful St Ives, easy walk from train station and close to seafront. Exquisite room, friendly people who make you feel at home. Great restaurant on site. What more could you ask for!

The property was quiet and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are in cute cottages not like the cookie cutter rooms off long hallways in many big chain hotels. The room had a view of the estuary and Hayle—and they even provided binoculars for even better views. Near Hayle and St. Erth train stations.

Everything excellent: Room, view, furnishings and meals, both breakfast and dinners. Unpretentious and super comfortable.

Loved the staff….friendly, helpful, attentive!
