Lostwithiel
Located in the small town of Lostwithiel, at the head of the estuary of River Fowey, Royal Oak Inn features elegant rooms, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and easy access to the picturesque... An excellent bar, the establishment had my fav beverage of DooM BaR on tap . . And a most exceptional & mighty Full Breakfast. I most liked the choice of having REAL Coffee to brew in my room, not often seen elsewhere. Meeting delightful Ronnie the cat, outside in the generous proportioned beer garden.

Geranium Cottage Lostwithiel is a self catering detached three bedroom stone cottage located in the middle of Lostwithiel Cornwall. Lostwithiel mainline railway station is 2625 feet from the property.... That’s a lovely cottage in a quiet area, the double bed was extremely comfy, well equipped, cosy little abode! We loved it highly recommended!
The hotel was comfortable Only downside of the room not enough plugs in room to charge phones etc. Does need updating a little. The B&B doesn’t serve food on a Sunday evening so we had to go out to find a take away. Would I stay again YES I would the food was good and the staff were very friendly
A lovely hotel staffed by very pleasant and polite people, who could not do enough for you. Only problem we found was the parking at public houses in Lostwithiel, but this is nothing to do with the Best Western Hotel.
Tucked away behind the main road lie the true charms of this wonderful traditional village but don't expect to find gordy tourist signs. The best way to discover Lostwithiel's beauty is to wander down side streets. I did exactly that and found a small cluster of restaurants, shops and the breathtakingly wonderful stone bridge over river leading to the train station. If you arrive during peak season be sure to book a table if opting to dine out as most offer limited seating
Lostwithiel is a small quaint little village with lots of shops for gifts or necessities. There are also some cafes with lovely cakes and restaurants if you wish to eat out. From Lostwithiel you can get to lots of places in a short time. I would recommend it
It’s a quiet little town with interesting historical features and nice walks by the River Fowey. There’s a handful of cafés, about 3 pubs, a small museum and the nearby Restormel Castle. It’s easily reached by train, or by car it could be a peaceful base for visiting busier coastal towns such as Fowey and Polperro.
Very interesting town with several antique shops, three good pubs and two wonderful restaurants. Great location for The Eden Project, Lanhydrock (National Trust) and slightly further way, The Lost Gardens of Heligan. All worth a visit.
Lostwithiel
We stayed for 6 nights and our hosts Chris and Heidi were exceptional. Our deluxe double room more than met our expectations and needs. A large room with two comfortable chairs to relax in and fantastic views over Lostwithiel. A beautiful modern, large en-suite too. The freshly cooked breakfast set us up for the day walking in Cornwall, before eating at one of the many restaurants, a short walk down into Lostwithiel.
Lostwithiel
The cottage was lovely, very cosy. It had everything you needed, a home from home. A cream tea was laid out on arrival which was very welcoming after a long journey. It's location was great, right in centre of Lostwithiel, a gorgeous little town. And in an ideal location to explore Cornwall, we visited loads of places, both South and North Cornwall.
