Staff were very friendly & helpful. they also let us check out at 11 so we got an extra hours sleep which is why we went away (we have 4 kids so sleep doesn’t come often) we also forgot our playing cards & they had some that they lent us for the night which was helpful. much appreciated :) the views at night look amazing with the lights shining off the water.

Very conveniently located for my purposes. Very professional and courteous staff. Very cozy and quiet with comfortable beds and very nice duvet and linens. I found if you prepay for the breakfast the night before at or as you check in instead of when you book or just before breakfast, it's saves you money and the breakfast is worth what they charge.

The location was very good for ease of access to the Harwich ferry. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was first rate.

Everything was cosy it's very homely, you had everything close by,a beautiful sea view,we didn't want to leave to return to normal.We have already booked to return next year.Lovely and warm,bed was comfortable we both slept well.Donna was very kind in letting us have a couple friends and family in for nibbles to celebrate my birthday.The couple are looking at booking the apartment themselves now.

    We know of shotley and the long drive down to reach the...

    We know of shotley and the long drive down to reach the accommodation but our room was well worth the drive we loved being able to open the door onto the balcony and sit back and watch the world and sea go by. Well worth taking a bottle or two to sit back and unwind if you don’t want to use the bar but the bar and restaurant are both there and well worth a look

    Room was great with super facilities.

    Room was great with super facilities. Had balcony so could enjoy glass of wine with a river/sea view. Had dinner and breakfast in the pub, which were super. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Bear in mind it is very close to a working dock so there is some noise. Well worth trying to ignore for the relaxing break
