Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, great food and wine, and an amazing location on the Isle of Mull, overlooking Tobermory Bay. Some rooms have wonderful sea views. Staff were helpful and friendly. When no parking spaces, man at reception came out to look and found us good alternative. Liked the open fire in receipt, the fresh flowers, the dining room to sit in at evening time. Loved the breakfast/ dining room with such a spectacular view. Loved the enormous bed. Fell in love with Meg, the resident dog. Nice buffet breakfast.
Set in Tobermory, The Tobermory Hotel has a restaurant, bar, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel features family rooms. All rooms in the hotel are equipped with a kettle. Everything about this hotel was excellent, from the lovely welcoming hosts Nicola & Robert, to the fabulous harbour view from my bedroom window seat. I loved this boutique hotel and extended my stay due to an unusual reluctance to move on.

Located in Tobermory, in a building dating from 1906, Linndhu House provides a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. Guests can enjoy garden views. We enjoyed our stay at Lindhu House. It was in a great location, being only a short walk from Aros Park - one of the highlights of Mull (stunning waterfalls and scenic walks around its lake). The house is grand and spacious, with an elegant and comfortable drawing room to relax in the evenings (or on a wet day!). Alison and Nick were helpful and warm without being obtrusive.

Lots of interesting independent shops and cafes/resturants. A lovely place to wander in - or rather a lovely street to wander along since most of the town is right down at the water. Also two excellent walks in opposite directions to the lighthouse and Aros Park.
Tobermory is such lovely place. Perfect for a drive to Calgary Bay. Beautiful roads but narrow. Si gle roads but plenty of passing places. We had a great dinner at MAcGOCHANS. But Mishnish was not my cup of tea.
Tobermory is the capital of the beautiful Island of Mull. Although it's remote, it is definitely worth the trip and is surrounded by mountains, forests and sea. The island feels very fresh and natural with lots of activities and terrains worth visiting and investigating. There is good local food and produce to enjoy. The locals are very friendly people.
We found Tobermory delightful. It's a great base for those wanting to explore. We did a boat trip with Staffa tours to see the puffins which didn't disappoint. The crew were so helpful and we definitely recommend the tour. We stayed at Western Isle Hotel during covid and they made us feel very safe. The view from the hotel is just amazing looking out over the water, food is delicious and the staff were very attentive.
A great little town to base yourself in when visiting Mull. The seafood at Mishnish was fantastic, the pub at the harbour is good too. Lots of characterful little shops. We also did a boat tour to Staffa from the harbour and it was fantastic - we saw a whale and had plenty of time to explore Staffa And Fingals Cave on foot.
I love Tobermory and the island. This visit included some lovely chocolate, solid and fluid, some local brew (Mishnish), a stunning hail storm, mid-meal, on the conservatory roof at the Western Isles Hotel, a delicious Indian meal at the Spice of Mull and numerous 'bracing' climbs back to my accommodation at the top of the town.
