The room we had had a warm welcoming atmosphere. It was a bit quirky with a separate toilet and bathroom. I liked the beverage tray and one of the best I've seen. I liked their idea of complementary refilled glass water bottles. The black out curtains and secondary glazing worked well. I enjoyed the fact that we had a bath tub. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Wow! What a little hidden gem! We was not expecting the cottage to be as amazing as it was! everything and I mean EVERYTHING has been thought about to cater for everyone. Everything was so fresh, clean & comfy - it really was like a home from home. Cannot recommend granary cottage enough and when we are coming back to the area, we will definitely be booking into granary cottage again.

Landlords were extremely helpful and positive. There was a mixup with the booking.com accommodations going through in their system, but they did not hesitate to go ahead and book us directly. Same price, upgraded room, amazing breakfast! We definitely recommend to anyone! Love the tea and coffee set up in the room, super comfortable bed, and we definitely had a great night sleep. Ten out of ten!

Warminster is a perfect location to see the many sites the area has to offer, the local train station is convenient to Bath, Bristol and Salisbury all worth a visit for a day. We went out twice for an evening meal, The Lamb at Hindon and The Prince Leopald at Upton Lovell, food was fantastic, but make sure you book ahead it can get really busy.

The country side is beautiful and you are within the area of parks and visitor attractions. We visited friends and this was our second time to Warminster. We are even considering moving to this area.

Great for walking and cycling - peaceful location. Small market town with several supermarkets and local shops. Nice walk around Nature Reserve and lake. Best walks up into the fields beyond the railway line - especially in the winter snow.

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Very quiet on top floor.

Easy to park near the high Street.

Easy to park near the high Street. Spent 2 hours walking around shops and local area. Followed a 'blue plaque' walk we downloaded. We thought this was a nice old town to potter around before visiting relatives nearby.

The whole hotel was welcoming and staff were attentive, friendly and most helpful. The accommodation Junior Suite - was comfortable, clean, spacious well presented and the bed and pillows were also very comfortable. Lovely view of courtyard with an array of beautiful flowers. Grounds well kept and the food was excellent absolutely pleased with the dishes I had superb chef. I will almost certainly return to stay in the wonderful hotel.

The rooms were quiet you wouldn't know you were above a pub. Free hot drinks available from the pub included with the room. You access the hotel via key card so separate and secure. Rooms have the old beams and the floor isn't level which I thought was a lovely kwirk. Comfy bed,hot shower and lovely and clean.
