Offering a spa center and sauna, The Warwickshire Hotel and Country Club is located 14.8 miles from Stratford-on-Avon, and 2.2 miles from Warwick Castle. This is a gorgeous hotel. You pay for your room as you arrive, which I much preferred. You pay for all your meals as you have them, which is a bonus, as I travel with my sister-in-law, and we like to split the bill, which has caused problems in other hotels.

Located in Warwick, Wroxall Abbey Hotel & Spa has a restaurant and bar. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. The hotel has a shared lounge. It's a lovely venue, and at the moment is extremely good value. I stayed for one night in a 'cosy' single. I wish I had a bedroom that size at home! The room was very pleasant, clean, and comfortable, with an excellent view out to the front of the house. Wifi from the room was reluable and tast. I didn't eat in for dinner, but the hot buffet breakfast was excellent.

Ideally located in the heart of central Warwick, The Rose and Crown is a former coaching inn, providing comfortable accommodations and excellent food in a vibrant atmosphere. The Rose and Crown is an excellent pub which has recently refurbished its bedrooms to a very high standard. My husband and I were visiting family. Our room was comfortable and warm and spotlessly clean. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The location in the centre of Warwick was very convenient. We booked bed and breakfast for a week and the breakfast menu was also extensive using local produce. We will definitely stay there again.

Warwick Castle is beautiful. Was a bit disappointed with the cost to get in the Dungeon, after paying to get in. The town itself is not that quaint. I much preferred Leamington Spa. The people are so helpful and their high street is lovely. 2 Nice parks right in the centre,. We met the Mayor just by chance. Such a lovely lady, went out of her way to show us how to get to the cinema and other facilities. Well worth a visit.
Signage and directions to activities and places of interest were not clear and effective. Town very clean and traffic not too heavy. Town centre hard to navigate for a blind person though people were very helpful. I was aware of lots of museum style places of interest but not of other types of activities which would have been really useful and enable visitors to make better use of everything that the lovely little town has to offer. I got a takeaway from Giggling Squid which was very high quality, really delicious, still hot when I got back to the accommodation, presentation and customer service lovely. Accommodation close to Tesco so got a lot of fresh salads and snacks and drinks but it has a very poor selection for gluten free needs.
We only stopped over for one night, so didn't do much sight-seeing. But the short walk into town to the excellent "Giggling Squid" showed us a few tempting sights to make sure we will return!
We've done multiple trips to Warwick now; each time coming for just a long weekend, and then leaving with the intention of coming back again soon to see more stuff. This time we did more of Warwick Castle, and ate out at the Giggling Squid - both of which we highly recommend. See you again soon Warwick!!
warwick was very quiet on the sunday as most shops are closed but a pretty town warwick castle is a good day out Kenilworth castle is close by and worth visiting for half a day Trip to stratford is a must
Nice town with a good variety of restaurants The Lebonese restaurant was excellent but beware it has a 'dry bar' (no alcohol). The trip to the castle was very interesting. Pity about the weather!
The only thing that we were disappointed about , was that we only got to stay at the Globe for one night. We had a great ten day rail journey around the West country and Oxford , which terminated in Warwick, and the experience and treatment we received at the Globe was second to none. We can not recommend it highly enough! and we will certainly be staying there again, when we return to Warwick. This Hotel is without doubt one of the very Best we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot!
Warwick
We had dinner in the restaurant both nights, food was excellent. Great choice, great service, great quality, great presentation, could not have hoped for anything better. Breakfast too was just as good, nothing too much trouble. Hotel lovely and clean, modern and nicely decorated. Very relaxed atmosphere with lovely friendly staff. Location smack bang in the centre of town, great shops nearby and close to the castle. If you are thinking of visiting Warwick, this place is a must.
Warwick
A lovely hotel attached to a nice pub. Good location a short walk from Warwick town centre. Good room facilities with still / sparkling water and fresh milk for coffee machine. Carpark entrance down a narrow alleyway - would be difficult in a big SUV - luckily I have a Golf so was fine! ;) Attached to pub, but didn't hear any noise from it in the evening.
Warwick
The room was super cute and was great for a budget stay for a trip to the Cotswold. We were able to arrive easily via train and it was a short walk from the station. The host was very friendly and allowed us to drop off bags early and keep it there after check out while we explored Warwick. Breakfast was also pretty good, better than expected.
Very good , clean and comfortable hotel. We ordered a familly room(at the same price)'and we got a very big room. The double bed was a bit narrow but very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with free buffet. Free parking but limited in number of cars
The gentlemanmanagung the hotel was superb at his job. The room was huge with luxury facilities, we were upgraded for free ! The breakfast included was delicious , plenty of choice and everything replenished regularly. Perfect for a visit to Warwickshire
