Warwick is a beautiful place with an historic castle with a fascinating history I have visited it on a previous occasion ,the town is easy to navigate and there are plenty of restaurants offering a variety of menus , we visited Warwick races and enjoyed the day there . Would recommend Warwick as a worthwhile place to go.
We really enjoyed our stay in Warwick and wished were able to enjoy more of the attractions. It’s a beautiful place with lots of history and great places to walk and an abundance of options for restaurants.
A stunning town, historic and interesting. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, and unteresting shops. Warwick castle is a very interesting visit, superb towns near by, Stratford-upon-Avon is definitely worth a visit.
I have never stayed in a town so quiet and had so much fun which was really down to Brogan's the Irish bar Eating out is quite easy with plenty of choice everywhere seems to do nice food with plenty of selection and diversity The old coffee tavern where we stayed seems to be in an excellent position The building itself is quite impressive the rooms well the room we stayed in was wonderful with super high ceilings and long arched windows We only had breakfast there which was extremely delicious and the staff couldn't do enough being polite and conscientious Two nights didn't give much time to visit the castle which personally i think is way over priced with the dungeon not being included although people say there's plenty to do in there For a little bit more you can book a coach trip anywhere see far far more and have a wider ranged experience Overall the old coffee tavern and Brogan's with Dough & Brew having a special mention too are the highlights of our stay and were thoroughly enjoyed Thank you Warwick
Hotel was really nice and a perfect location. The room was ok albeit the bathroom was tiny and as it had no ventilation had a musty smell. Road and people noise was bad especially at night. Breakfast was ok but we felt the hot selection needs more choice. Local restaurants were great and the food was lovely and St Mary's church is a must visit.
Castle worth a visit good experience shops limited but lots of Charity shops generally folks were friendly but please pay a bit extra and stay somewhere 4 star plus otherwise it will dampen your visit .
The hotel location could not have been more convenient for Warwick town centre, bars and restaurants. The staff, especially the newly-drafted-in manager, could not have been more friendly or courteous. The cooked breakfast was excellent, albeit there was no buffet but table service only. Despite not having any parking facilities at the hotel (though there is a drop off zone), the public parking just across the road was very convenient and reasonable at £6 per 24 hours.
Warwick
Perfect location at the entrance to the road leading to the Warwick Castle parking and an easy uphill walk to the Warwick village center, pubs etc. Very pleasant, helpful and friendly hosts who welcomed us with a nice pot of tea and biscuits. Charming house. Free parking on site, quiet room - triple glazing which blocked the noise from the road, spacious room, comfy bed, spacious bathroom, nice bath snd shower. Plenty bathroom shelf space, quite unusual.
The location was very convenient for Warwick, Leamington or Kenilworth. The grounds were extensive and beautiful with a church and the remains of the original abbey. The hotel building was lovely; full of character and comfort. Our bedroom was immaculate, with an excellent shower room and a wonderful view over the parkland. Breakfast was good with decent coffee and some really tasty fresh croissants and pains aux raisins as the stand outs.
We've stayed many times, as It's a handy jumping off point for visiting relatives, attending weddings, funerals etc. Always clean, good value, inclusive breakfast, nice bar lounge area, charming staff. All the big towns and cities of Warwickshire within an easy drive. Even during this Covid situation the staff are providing a warm welcome.
Hotel is in a great location right near Warwick train station, so super convenient for getting about. My room (number 6), was in a really nice quiet spot, and was a great size, especially the bathroom. Wifi was good, and the free water bottles were a welcome sight after my long journey
Location of the hotel was excellent right in the centre of town. The room was good but if you are disabled you need to inform the hotel so you can get a ground floor room. The breakfast was lovely and the staff are all really welcoming and friendly. Would stay there again.
