The impressive 15th-century Tudor House Hotel B&B offers charming rooms. Warwick rail station is a 3-minute drive away and there is good access to the M40 motorway. They were esp. kind with their first aid kit, helping to bandage a knee hurt during travel.

Most places were closed during our visit, but the town and the parks were beautiful, clean, welcoming. We spent a day at Commbe Country Park, which was close, and a great day out. Nice to see all the birdlife, but a lovely walk in any event. Close to Stratford upon Avon.
We enjoyed our trip here, we didn't stay too long due to how busy it was and the fact it was raining all day unfortunately. We missed the jousting due to booking the Dungeon experience in the morning which was really good, i definitely recommend doing it but maybe just check what time other events are showing before committing to a time slot. Was not impressed with the organisation of the time tower, no clear signing at the bottom for tourists so they were going in via the exit, we waited for the door to open to go into the first room, however a few minutes in there were tourist forcing there way into the room and some coming in through the fire escape. When we moved to the next room again there was a group of about 20 walking the wrong way through the event and going through fire exits and leaving the doors open. This really was a terrible experience and one of the main reasons we left for the day as we couldn't even enjoy some of the events. We also didn't stay for the falconry experience and were disappointing to see that you could no longer view the birds without attending the show.
Only had a day here, and could have done with longer. Castle is great fun, loads to see and explore. Dungeon trip was suitably scary and the other talks, displays were run throughout the day were good. I had been reading the Time Shifters Books by Kate Frost with my 10 year old and this inspired the trip. He thoroughly enjoyed himself too.
Absolutely amazing place to visit, fantastic architecture, one of the best castles we have visited. Wonderful quirky shops not run of the mill that you see in every town, lovely restaurants of every sort. People very friendly and polite, good old fashioned customs.
Oh my God!!! The Warwick Castle was so close and so worth to visit! We had a great fun and lovely fotos. Amazing experience! Lovely village. Some nice little shops and houses. Excellent Chinese take away near to us. Very pleased!
Has everything, but you need time to see it all and enjoy it. Castle is amazing and you need 2 days to see it all. Historically very interesting and shows are great. Cafes and shops in town are very good. Beer garden at Wetherspoons is great.
Ideal central location for exploring Warwick. We received a friendly welcome on a very chilly day and shown to a warm and well appointed room in the main building. Our friends had a room in the annexe, which was fine. We enjoyed watching the 6 nations match with the added bonus of delicious snacks at half-time! We did not eat in the restaurant, but the menu looked very good. The breakfast menu provided a good choice, including fresh fruit, yoghurt and American pancakes! Would definitely recommend The Old Fourpenny Hotel
Excellent location, close to the train station (3 min), Warwick Castle (10 mins). There is a supermarket just across the street. The staff were very welcoming and went extra mile! I asked if they had non-diary milk and the lady even went to the shop to get one! She was extremely hospitable and welcoming! We could store our luggage till our train in the evening. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with and excellent shower and a mini fridge! Was way better than I expected! Excellent value! Would highly recommend!
The cottage was park of Warwick Castle’s original complex. The breakfast room had the original stone floor which served as the “milking parlor”. Our hosts did everything to make our stay enjoyable, including securing an emergency dental appointment. The location was perfect... right next to the entrance to Warwick Castle and situated near many pubs and restaurants. Just a 10 minute walk to the heart of Warwick. From this location, we were easily able to explore the surrounding area in day trips.
Overall great hotel near Warwick castle, which was the reason for our visit only disappointment was the high chair situation for breakfast, only one available (at least one other couple asked for one during breakfast) the one they had was broken (had no centre leg strap) these thing are £12 at Asda which is 10 minutes drive away surely a member of management has the authority to purchase a couple with petty cash.
The hotel had a lovely feel to it and beautifully decorated.. The staff were friendly and they were helpful catering to my food allergies. The breakfast was really nice and set you up for the day. Central location is good for getting to all the attractions nearby. We stayed for 2 nights and although the bed let us down on this occasion we would still stay here again if we were in Warwick visiting.
This hotel is situated at a motorway services but it is set back away from the main car park and outlets and is very quiet. There was a choice of food outlets very close by, albeit of the fast food variety. This made an excellent stop on a journey, but was also very well located for visiting or touring this historic area e.g. Warwick and Stratford Upon Avon. A good value, clean, comfortable stay
The globe is located in a great location close to Warwick centre. The hotel staff were very friendly and made our stay perfect. We will definitely return
