Accommodation was in a separate building which worked well as it was isolated from the pub so it was shielded from the entertainment on the Saturday night which went on until late but we were undisturbed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening after arrival and enjoyed a very nice meal and some good wine. Interesting range of options for breakfast. We opted for the full breakfast butty and beans on wholemeal toast (vegetarian option) which were both really good and excellent value. Good range of coffee and attentive staff. We were joined by friends for breakfast and stayed the morning at the pub for a really enjoyable start to the day. It was Garden Festival weekend so lots happening and you became aware of the real community spirit that exists in the village. We popped to Skipton early afternoon and had a late afternoon tea on the steam train at Embsay - another worthwhile venture!

Very easy to find. Good parking. Very warm welcome from the check in staff and concierge. The hotel is new, and immaculate. I used the gym which is currently being extended. Loads of cardio and resistance equipment available. Food at the Lounge was tasty, and the service was good. My room was immaculate in all aspects, with a comfy bed and nice bathroom. (I always like to have an iron in the room, and a tv with a sleep timer.... little things but very welcome!)

We loved the beds, they were so comfortable and we had the best night sleep we’ve had in ages! We also loved the design of the apartment, it was absolutely beautiful. The apartment was spotlessly clean! And lastly, the host Steve, was brilliant! Thank you so much for a beautiful stay.

Was met by the lovely welcoming owner, who showed us to the lodge and gave us all the details we needed to stay. She was absoutely amazing and friendly. Super stunning views even with the bad weather. Will be going back!

    Great quality at reasonable prices.

    Great quality at reasonable prices. Everything about this accommodation just oozed quality, even down to the towels provided. The fact that food and drink was available just a dozen steps away was the icing on the cake. Can thoroughly recommend this little gem.

    Beautiful wycoller and boulsworth moor are nearby.

    Beautiful wycoller and boulsworth moor are nearby. As is Haworth and Pendle hill so it’s great for exploring the outdoors. Boundary mill is also in nearby Colne for a bit of shopping . Nice hidden gem in Lancashire . Access is a little limited as it’s quite a hilly area in places .
