I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Olde Castle B&B. The location is simply stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful, authentic atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, warm, and friendly. My room was cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I slept better than I had in ages! A lovely cup of tea in the room also helped. Breakfast in the morning was fresh, hearty, and delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!

The house is located on a spectacular site with a view of the sea and surrounding fields. Truly lovely. The owners Fiona and Pat were so friendly and helpful. And, the home offered everything and more. if we had more time, we would have spent some time in the cozy little loft on the second floor overlooking the sea,

Very friendly,helpful owner...we felt most welcome and it was very pleasant indeed to find we didn't have to pay extra for our dog. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The location was super too.

We really enjoyed staying at Castlehouse for 2 nights. It was comfortable, clean, great breakfast, beautiful scenery and the best part was getting to chat with the owner, John who is super friendly and helpful. We loved it there!

The place was absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The location was perfect! Views unreal. Super comfortable and clean. Host was so kind. Room had a list of recommendations for so many things in the area. Wish we would have had more time to spend here!

    Renvyle is a really nice place to stay, with space to take time on-premises, but also in the heart of Connemara from which to explore the beaches, towns and countryside. The staff are very helpful and the hotel provides good food in both the pub and restaurant.

    I had a wonderful, if too short, stay.

    I had a wonderful, if too short, stay. I used the outdoor pool and the hot tubs. Had a five star dinner with wonderful service. The staff are all amazing. An amazing nights sleep on the most comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast with so much choice and then it was off home for us :)

    Great location, stunning scenery and routes for hiking and cycling. Ate out at Paddy Coyne’s - excellent food and service. Easy access to Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and only 20 minutes drive to get ferry to Inisboffin.

    We enjoyed a 2 night stay in Renvyle House for my husband's 60th birthday..From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable in the beautiful surroundings despite the rain showers.We enjoyed the delicious 5 course meal on the first night and the staff were so nice,they even sang Happy Birthday and presented a small cake with a candle to my hubby..The second night we had the bar menu and that was also delicious.We will be back again for sure,thank you Renvyle House staff.

    This village is too remote with no cafes/restaurants or taxi...

    This village is too remote with no cafes/restaurants or taxi service. It used to have cafe and taxis but not any more. It has a good petrol station and shop. We travelled to Letterfrack/Clifden/Roundstone and Cleggan beaches incredible food lovely would definitely stay in 1 of these villages in future.

    Very quiet and peaceful area. Hiking is spectacular .

    Very quiet and peaceful area. Hiking is spectacular . Easy to drive around the area , roads are narrow and drive on the left , but the country roads are quiet , more sheep than anything on them ! And always give way to sheep :) Everyone was friendly and helpful . Loved this beautiful area and exploring Connemara National Park.

    The best part about the hotel is definitely the outdoor hot tub, nothing better than to soak in the warm water with a nice sunny day, admiring the mountains. The beds were comfortable enough and the food was good. Some of the staff members were very attentive and they did carry our luggage to our room, which was a nice, even if unnecessary, service offered to us.

    Roisin and Samantha were such excellent and caring hosts. THe morning breakfast was substantial and served in a dining room boasting of a magnificent view of the sea and mountains. Oh, and to be so up close to the Renvyle Castle ruins was amazing. I loved my 3 nights there.

    Excellent stay! The value for money of the property is really good! The owner, John, is extremely welcoming and very interesting to talk to. The breakfast room has a lovely view and the B&B is located in one of the most beautiful places of Connemara.
