Large, new and fully equiped rooms, with beautifull view, very comfi and large beds. Good and tasty breakfast. The location is just near the lake and near the boats station. The service is exceptional!!! Everything was first class! The management of hotel is exceptional, helpfull, take a care about all you need and can think about.

Our family really enjoyed the split level room. The upstairs loft was very big, with 3 twin beds, and a sky window that opened with a nice view. It was nice to have a big separate downstairs room for the parents. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection, and we loved that we could bring our trays across the street to eat on the waterfront restaurant terrace. The staff was very friendly. It was easy to park in the many nearby free spaces. We loved the outdoor grassy roof deck with a great view of the old buildings. The location is right in the middle of all restaurants, with a beautiful view of the water, and a big supermarket one block away.

We needed a triple room and were arriving after midnight free attending a music festival. The hotel staff reassured us that we could arrive at any time. The night Porter was available and guided us into the secure parking and carried our bags up. The room was very comfortable, with a nice balcony and view at a great price. The bathroom was large and well-equipped. The mini bar had soft drinks and water and one beer, perfect for a refreshment. The air conditioning was great! We had a crisis we had to manage by phone in the U.S., and we had to stay up all night. I messaged the hotel from within Booking.com and asked for slightly late checkout and they were very accommodating. We love this hotel. Great value for money, polite and friendly staff, comfortable beds, fabulous AC, and good location near Stresa. Enjoy!!!

It was a wonderful 1-night stay. I wish I could stay more. The room was clean and had all basic amenities one would need for a short stay, like a fridge, an air conditioner, and a hair dryer. It had a spacious balcony with chairs and the wonderful view of the lake Lago Magiore and the beautiful Borromeo islands, mostly la isola Superiore dei Pescadori. Their restaurant also has that view. They have private parking where their staff helped me park because it was dark. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner, Matteo, and his front-desc staff, Marta, were very nice and helped with advice and directions

    Beautiful views. Lovely town- friendly people. Easier to get around if you have your own car- a little too far to walk all the time, and some part of the walk into Stresa is on a busy road with no walkway. Taxis are a little difficult to come by and range from 11 to 20 euro.

    The location of Baveno was good for exploring the lake and local area. Plenty to see and the boat trip to the Borromeo islands was well worth it. Local restaurants were good providing local dishes. Good for those who like walking with plenty of interesting places to visit. We travelled by car but there are local buses.

    Nice little pitoresque place, relaxing and peaceful. I miss some bakery that do exist but were closed. Also you can't really buy any souvenirs and not much opportunity to buy local food to take home unless you are buying the ordinary supermarket stuff.

    Baveno is a very lovely place for a holiday with an amazing embankment walk.Every day I take a boat to travel to different islands and small towns.There are good restaurants but quite expensive . I saw only one pizza take away .Once we were in pub near Eden Hotel ,the food was horrible. The public beach is small one but with bar and restaurant. Food was good. It was too cold to swimming in the lake in the end of May ,so we went to Adventures park.The water in swimming pool was warm and surrounded with views of mountains and lake.But expensive. I love to recommend Baveno like amazing holiday destinations.

    It was fine but very quiet, with boats going to some beautiful places all day. If you like shopping not the place to go, one small supermarket, small deli pizza take away one small gift shop. Plenty of restaurants offering various foods, not cheap but would expect to pay more when visiting popular areas like this. Good for walking, cycling or generally chilling out. For more shops etc visit Stressa just a mile down the road.

    The hosts were super accommodating and ensured that check-in and check-out was smooth. She also checked up on me throughout my visit to make sure I had everything I needed. The accommodation is right across the road from the Grand Hotel Dino which was useful when attending conferences at the hotel but at a reasonable price.
