Our stay at Ristorante Hotel La Primavera could not have been better. The room and hotel were wonderful. The food was great. Best of all the service was 5 star! My wife and I were treated like special guests and family the entire time. Claudio, Nino, Luigi, and Marina and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. We loved everything about this little resort.
We loved everything about this little resort. Best to hire a car and trip around. Or scooters. You can’t do this place without one. And the staff helped us get one. They helped us with all our day trips and advice. The only thing I would say is the owner need softer mattress toppers as the beds were super hard. That’s all. This place is a must . My cousin and I stayed at La Lobre for three days this past October, and what a lovely stay it was! The staff were all amazing, the accomodations were clean and well kept and spacious. I loved having an actual sit-down deck off our room with 2 chairs an a table. The food both in the morning and at night was simply amazing--traditional regional Italian food homemade at the inn, and served family style under the lemon trees in the evening. Much of it came from La Lobra's own gardens, which surround the inn. We walked around Massa Lubrense, along the road with it's remarkable views of the ocean , the harbor, with Capri,and Naples visble in the distance so scenic! Also, Pepe, one of the owner's sons , drove us (for a $70 fee) all the way from Positano--a breathtaking ride along the famous road, Wow. Massa Lubrense is the quiet and very authentic Italian country side between the Sorrento Coast and the Amalfi Coast with a beautiful view of the island of Capri in the distance. I recommend it for travelers who prefer not to stay in the busier towns of Sorrento or Positano. Sorrento is only 20 minutes away and has all the shopping you need! The ferry there will also take you to Capri, Positano, Amalfi, etc. From Massa Lubrense you can also drive down to the beach & enjoy dining in Nerano. The breakfast was superb and the breakfast location was lovely. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view. I would absolutely stay here again- very tranquil. The apartment was modernly furnished, and the room was very spacious and clean. The location of the apartment in Massa Lubrense was very convenient. From here, you can reach Naples, Sorrento, and Pompeii by train and bus. Capri and the Amalfi Coast are also easily accessible by boat. Overall, the stay was simply wonderful.
