Offering free access to the outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and a free bike rental service, the stylish Villa La Colombaia is located in Portici. Staff very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were a high standard and very comfortable. The hotel location was perfect..a short walk a way from shops and cafes and metro station. Pompeii 20 mind away Naples centre 20 mns away and Sorrento 50 mns away on metro.
Hotel Borbonico di Pietrarsa has a restaurant, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a bar and garden in Portici. Hotel had a name change. Outside "New Hotel", inside flagged as "Gold" so that was a bit confusing when we arrived. Bg pool area, one small pool, one large pool and one kiddies pool. Opened restaurant at 7, half hour early but no coffee or tea at that time. - had to leave for airport by 7.30. About 20 minutes straight run from the airport.
B&B Pietrarsa is located in Portici. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. Mario, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay at B & B Pietrarsa a memorable one! We had a fabulous time in Portici and the surrounding areas. We liked it so much we stayed an additional night. Mario was very informative about what to do in Potrici and other cities close by. He told us where to catch the train, and places we should not miss while there i.e. Pompeii. His restaurant recommendations were fantastic and we were welcomed and treated like family at the restaurants too! He even gave us suggestions on other places to see along the Southern coast of Italy. We loved the B&B and Mario made us feel like family! If we get back to this part of Italy we will stay at B&B Pietrarsa again! Rick and Donna ---USA
L'ACCHIAPPASOGNI VESUVIANO Guest House is located on the beachfront in Portici. The property provides a tour desk and luggage storage space for guests. Close to the pretty harbour and the train station. Very convenient to visit both Neaples and Pompeii via train. Thanks for the pleasant stay.
Located in Portici in the Campania region, Villa Elena features a garden. We rested in the villa Elena with a group of friends. The villa is wonderful. It is a detached building with a small garden. The house has 2 bedrooms with new furniture and air conditioning, a chic furnished living room, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms. The villa is well located. The beach is an 8-10 minute walk. Directly opposite the villa there is a supermarket, cafes, shops. Portavici Bellavista train station from where you can get to Naples, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento is a 12-15 minute walk. The owners of the villa are hospitable and friendly.
Located in Portici, B&B Il Melograno offers accommodations with a balcony. Free WiFi is offered and private parking is available on site. Really beautiful appartment located in the main street of Portici Town. Verry spacious, dice interior decoration, verry clean. Private safe parking in the interior yard. 10 min to the train station that can take you quite fast to Napoli, Pompei, Sorrento or Salerno.
Set in Portici, notti vesuviane features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This bed and breakfast offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. We booked the Klimt apartment. It was very nice, so elegant and so spacious. From the balcony we had an amazing view to the central square to Portici and to the Vesuvio too. The apartment is perfectly located, halfway between Naples and Pompei. Naples 19 minutes with the ferrovie dello sato from the station Portici-Ercolano to Naples-Piazza Garibaldi. Pompei 20 minutes wit the Circumvesuviana train from the station Portici via libertá to Pompei. We had the most amazing gastronomic experience in our life at the restaurant Pizzeria Vesuvio di Petrone Luigi, the best pizza of our life. Thanks to Paola and Rosella we had a very calm and perfect holiday! :) <3
Very poor and unclean city especially near the water. However we had a good experience at a restaurant on Giuseppe Verdi street. The owners of Il Nido were very nice but I think it would be better if they had provided some information sbout the surroundings and what is available as far as restaurants and such. We did not see anyone until the breakfast time.
Portici is not touristy but it is within walking distance of the ruins at Ercolano and the Circumvesuviana train station where trains can be caught to Naples and Sorrento and other places including the Pompeii ruins. A bus to the highest car park on Vesuvius also leaves from outside the Circumvesuviana train station. There is a second railway station in Portici that is part of the Italian rail network. There are enough shops, supermarkets and restaurants but it is very busy with traffic and some parts are quite run down. There is a small harbour and a beach from which you can swim in the sea but it is not at all picturesque. The people were friendly and helpful but English was not widely spoken. You get a good feel for the Italian way of life.
Potrici is a small Italian town, with very friendly people and very good restaurants. The town is not very tidy, but I think this is a concern for most of the places in Italy. They have a nice park and shopping area. Very good place for exploring the area
The room was clean and quite large. Bathroom was much nicer than it appeared on the photos. Conveniently locates just off the autostrade approx 10-15 min drive from the airport so a good alternative to the dodgy sounding hotels near the airport. Also close for Herculaneum and Vesuvius. We arrived at 12:30am to find the gates closed and unsure how to enter however we called the hotel and we were able to check in and showed straight to our room.
Staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our short stay comfortable. We found on-street parking just across the street which was free overnight (not free during the day). A nearby pizzeria was recommended for an easy and very inexpensive dinner. Ercolano and Vesuvio are both very accessible from Portici by car. The rooms were well appointed.
Perfect location in the centre of Portici. The host, Mario provided a perfect check-in and the facilities were honestly amazing - my partner and I ended up staying in a family size room because we changed the check-in date at last minute, so there was a lot of space. It's a 10min walk from the train to Naples. Very quiet. Snack, tea, coffee, etc. available.
Maria is a fantastic host- very helpful and accommodating. The room is large and comfortable. The bathroom is very clean. The view is amazing! Portici is a great base rather than Napoli. The accommodation is very close to the train station making access to Napoli, Pompeii, Vesuvius and Sorrento really accessible.
Really beautiful appartment located in the main street of Portici Town. Verry spacious, dice interior decoration, verry clean. Private safe parking in the interior yard. 10 min to the train station that can take you quite fast to Napoli, Pompei, Sorrento or Salerno.
Hotel staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate the very little Italian we speak. Outside area is very nice (or will be when fully open). Food was very good and housing keeping service was excellent.
Great location to see family, parking space really good as it’s very hard to find a space in Portici
Beautiful and quiet location, courtesy and warmth
