We originally booked L’Ottava Goccia for three nights and ended up staying a fourth, that says it all. This place has a truly special soul. It carries a unique and thoughtful character, where every detail reflects the heart and dedication of its owners. There is a beautiful wabi-sabi feeling here, an imperfect perfection that makes the space human, warm, and real. The design feels organic and evolving, like a living space that continues to grow. Above all, you can feel the love for the place and the sincere care for the guests in every corner. Roberto and his son Andrea speak excellent English, and we truly enjoyed our conversations with them. The dinners they prepared were delicious, served with soft music in the background beside the crackling fireplace where our dog peacefully rested. We left the place with a warm feeling, energized to continue our vacation in Italy.

The location is incredible, in the heart of the village! The hosts were incredibly friendly and very helpful! The village is beautiful!!!! Would go back again in a heartbeat!

This was just an amazing experience! It is an atmospheric, quiet, very cosy hotel with nice breakfast. It is situated in very beautiful and peaceful town, it has absolutely insane views on the town and mountain with the castle. Especially from the library. I can continue, you'd better see my pics below. Once I'd be back to stay for 3-4 days just to sit and read in the library before that window.

Stayed there because we have 2 large service dogs. Although we didn't let them off leash, we have long leashes, they enjoyed the grassy area. The room was clean, large enough, and comfortable. The restaurant was quite good and a good selection of wines from Italy. The food was also very good. They were very helpful in arranging transportation to the ship. The taxi was one of the few that took us on the pier directly to the entrance of our ship. They handled the luggage, which was 4 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons. Would return again. Too bad we didn't get there several days earlier as it was quite enjoyable.

Great location in the countryside outside of Civitavecchia city. It was perfect to stay with our dog after arriving by ferry. The house is spotless clean and very spacious. The owners are super friendly and we will definitely come again for future travels.
