The room was clean and nice. Had everything needed and included water bottles, tea/coffee, bathroom supplies etc. The hotel was very close to the main road which had restaurants etc. The AC and wifi was good

Amazing staff, couldn't have been more helpful if they tried! My husband was on crutches following a surf injury and they offered to come and pick us up from the train station. It was amazing to have a lift, both for him and our luggage. The room was enormous and felt very grand with high windows and big beds. Breakfast was incredible, fresh fruit followed by pancakes, toast and every kind of Sri Lankan hopper available. We also ate in the roof top restaurant on both evenings, delicious food and reasonable prices (we had curry and rice, the kids had Devilled chicken). The pool was beautiful (but cold) and we saw lots of birds from the roof terrace including Sri Lankan red woodpeckers. The hotel organised a tuktuk driver to show us Kandy and take my husband for a hospital appointment. He was a great driver and priced very reasonably. We slept really well in the big beds with crisp white linen.
