It is a beautiful home. The owners Lakmini and MG are among some of the kindest souls I have ever met. In fact, I spent my first whole week just in their presence because I enjoyed their company so much! I also really loved Lakmini’s meals - everything was extremely tasty. I am now a super fan of Sri Lankan food. I can wait to return and with friends.

Exactly as depicted, a beautiful lodge in the middle of the forest. Excellent food, and very friendly staff. A truly relaxing stay immersed in nature. They help to arrange a good guide for a nature walk. The menu, at first glance, is very heavy on European / Western food (pizza, pasta, tapas), which are fine but not exceptional. Go with the Sri Lankan menu options. You won't be disappointed.

I recently stayed at this beautiful river & mountain view hotel, and it was truly a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Beautiful place. Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Blown away by wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality again. Such good food. Pool was fantastic to swim in as well as option to swim in river. Very peaceful location, perfect for relaxing. Accessed by little boat ride across the river. Highly recommend. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

After a long day of hiking, my wife and I really enjoyed relaxing in the plunge pool and steam room. The staff (Mohammad and Vijay) were very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed having delicious string hoppers and curries for breakfast. They arranged white water rafting and it was an experience of a lifetime for us.
