There is something to see and experience around every corner. It has a compelling charm that few cities have anymore. A lovely, relaxing place to visit which is full of history. The Leal Senado, opposite the main square, has a good tourist shop with very good prices. Don’t miss the Old Protestant cemetery - so full of history and well maintained. If you have 2 days there catch the bus over to Coloane - you need patacas and no change given -and go to Fernando’s Restaurant, a Macau institition, for pork and clams and other such delicacies. It is the last stop on the 36A route and to the right of the group of restaurants there- no obvious name but easy to find. The garden is nice for a drink if you are in no rush, but spray before as the mossies like it too! Don’t go on the 36 as it doubles the time to get there.Guest review byAnonymous
