The staff where always smiling, friendly and helpful, checking in and out was very smooth , the guest services were great in helping us book restaurant reservations and figure out the daily activities, as well as the adventure excursions outside the hotel. Liked the open concept of the main building , and the amazing large 4 pools , the large buffet restaurant where you never have to worry about finding a place to sit, with a wide variety of food , and almost everything tasted good. There was always someone around to help, whether it was the waiters in the restaurant or out by the pool . The pools are large and clean , it had more than enough lounge chairs both in and out of the shade that we never had to worry about finding a place to sit even if we got there later in the day. The beach was clean with beautiful palm trees over the chairs. Both where open from 8am until 8pm which is great as most hotels close their pools around 6pm. The room was large and clean, beds were very comfortable, loved having the hot tub in the balcony. There is always some type of live entertainment at night in all the hotels , and as it’s part of a chain of hotels right next to each other within the same compound we were free to walk over or hop on the hotel bus to visit the other hotels , and we where free to use their facilities, and while guests at the other hotels where also allowed into our hotel they had to be 18 and above as we are adults only, so that was great. They had a small mall with both an indoor and outdoor stalls in one of the hotels with all kind of souvenirs and locally made goods, in addition to clothing and mini convenience store , so don’t worry if you forgot to pack something, odds are you’ll find something similar there. We got massages at the spa and the spa rooms where beautifully decorated and the therapists where great.

It was my first time staying at an all-inclusive resort so I didn’t know what to expect. I went for a wedding. The food and drinks were a lot better than I expected! I thought it was really good. :) Food was nice and hot! The staff were phenomenal; they were all so nice and courteous. :) They had a great attitude. Room was clean! Pool was at a lovely temperature. I’d love to go again. Loved the night performances they have. I stayed for 4 days and that wasn’t enough time.

This hotel is not for families, it was way to much noise all night long drunk people scream in the hallways , our door was nock at 1-3 in the morning woke up our children age 2y, 6y, 8y. The staff were so helpless, unfriendly and rude. Every time we had to eat was so stressful cause the waiters will be so mad and we will ask for things like water they will take for ever to give to us. It was a buffe every time but water wasn’t available or even a spoon. They drop drinks next to ur table they didn’t clean it the whole breakfast we were there, i was so afraid any of us will fall down. Front Thea people never knew the answer. Overall we were so disappointed. It feel like a super cheap hotel, full of a lot of drunk people. I read bad reviews and didn’t payed attention but I wish I did. I’m not happy at all with this hotel experience and I’m not planing to eve go back. The ocean was the only thing was good about our trip.
The beach is public, therefore a bit too many people (especially on weekends). Though not sure if you can find a more private one next to a hotel. Not much for walking as well, only max 2 miles of the beach, after that rocks.
About an hour from Cancun airport. Lots of parks around offering adventure trails, dolphin expeiences, natural features. We went to a cenote (freshwater sinkhole) and did some swimming. There are quite a few of these in the region and thoroughly recommended.
Resorts are phenomenal! Food and service was top notch. Tons of cenotes and mayan ruins to visit. You could spend a week there and still not see enough! I definitely want to go back soon!! I stayed at the Catalonia Royal which was such good value for the price. The resort is adults only so no kids was a plus for me. The driving was actually better than i imagined it to be, getting around is pretty easy and convenient, although, beware of the sleazy sales people everywhere (Car rental places included)
Unfortunately there was a lot of seaweed,( Can't control mother nature) in the scheme of things it was still beautiful. We were recommended to a beautiful resort and we spent the day there and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest.
The Xpu Ha beach was beautiful so I highly recommend the beach. The major dissappointment was the Glamping Hotel Xpu Ha , myself and my group just wanted to relax and enjoy a simple vacation but it was horrible.! We stayed in a beach view bungalow Room which was filthy, with old stained pillows and sheets even after we complained the staff did not care and replaced them with other dirty soiled bedsheets. The bathroom was very basic, dirty and there was no hot water. One night, We were stranded locked out of our room as the key and lock were so rusted and old they jammed and would not open, there was not manager or staff around, we asked the parking security guard to assist , no one was available or interested in assisting us. The restaurant food was very low quality and the restaurant staff although friendly had no concept of service as we waited endlessly for scrambled eggs and cold soggy toast. In the end they hotel overcharged us ( far greater than the price we reserved on booking.com) they insisted that we pay it all in cash and then would not provide us with a receipt! We have been visiting the Mayan Riviera for over 20 years having stayed in many great hotels in Tulum, Playa de Carmen and even Cancun, but GLAMPING XPU HA was the absolute worst hotel I haved ever experienced, I would never recommend anyone to stay there ever. I‘ve tried over 12 5 star hotels all over Quintana Roo in my 4 month stay in Mexico. This place was my favourite! Everything was just perfect! Fresh juices in the morning, excellent ambience and overall the b-loved food was amazing. Beautiful beach, very nice facility and overall gourmet food with a jungle experience while everything is clean and modern. 10/10
We loved the stay. Everyone who worked at the hotel were top of their game. The setting and the service were amazing. The manatee trip was SO GOOD. Sunsets were 💯
Close to a beautiful beach which is included in the hotel price. Free breakfast was one of the best in our Mexico trip. Staff is friendly.
We liked the beach and the several activities offered by the hotel. The strikers area was really nice to have something to do at night.
