I love the uniqueness of the bungalows, having your toes in the sand when you wake up, the privacy, and the whole experience of sleeping on the beach. The breakfast is delicious and fresh. It is wonderful to wake up and have the sound of the waves on the shore.

Resorts are phenomenal! Food and service was top notch. Tons of cenotes and mayan ruins to visit. You could spend a week there and still not see enough! I definitely want to go back soon!! I stayed at the Catalonia Royal which was such good value for the price. The resort is adults only so no kids was a plus for me. The driving was actually better than i imagined it to be, getting around is pretty easy and convenient, although, beware of the sleazy sales people everywhere (Car rental places included)
Unfortunately there was a lot of seaweed,( Can't control mother nature) in the scheme of things it was still beautiful. We were recommended to a beautiful resort and we spent the day there and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest.
Beautiful white sand beach! Very few hotels, but easy access to Playa del Carmen and Tulum if you are looking for shopping excursions. About an hour from Cancun airport- use private transfer from Canada Transfers: fast, safe comfortable and inexpensive.
No hot water in the room, tried to charge for pets even though online says no extra fee. Sinks did not drain. Animals in small enclosures not at all a sanctuary, very sad. Beach front was maybe 20 feet. Just not at all wish you would expect from the description and photos online.
Great beaches, white sands and turquoise waters. Great amount of attractions nearby: archaeological sites such as Tulum, Cobá, Chichen Itza, attraction natural parks, cenotes. Plenty of activities like snorkeling, scoobadiving, exploring Akumal - the beach of the turtles. You can easily spend two weeks and still have a lot to explore. Amazing place to relax and enjoy!
Absolutely beautiful, loved the culture, loved the people. The beaches were gorgeous and clean, the water was the perfect temperature. There was plenty to do, the excursions I experienced were memories I will cherish for a lifetime.

Property is beautifully maintained and very nicely curated. Every detail is carefully thought of and done in great taste. You are made to feel as if you’re a guest at someones house rather than at a hotel. The food, service and overall decor are impeccable.

Beginning with checking in, everyone was so polite and helpful. The buffet's we tried were delicious and the steakhouse we ate at one night was the best! Our room was amazing. We didn't try the pools but spent most our time lounging at the beach.

The best thing about this place is it's private and secluded location. You wake up and you see the beach right in front of you and you can dip your feet in the sand once you open the door. There's no need to go through the endless hallways of the huge resorts to get to the beach. However, if you are looking for the resort amenities, this place is not for you. It doesn't have any pools, no TV in the room, no phone, not even hairdryer. Only some wifi that was just enough for us. Just perfectly natural and exactly what we were looking for! We traveled with our 2 year old child and we didn't want to worry about her falling into a pool. So it was perfectly safe and convenient for us. The room itself was spacious enough for the whole family and the kitchen amenities were fine. There's a restaurant right next door that serves amazing seafood and beautiful margaritas, which perfectly satisfied our needs. The villa itself is part of a campground which was full with really great nature loving people. There's also a resort right next to it, but we never used it for anything and the crowd there seemed far away and didn't bother us at all. The owner of the villa has two hammocks that you can put out on the porch and just hang out and listen to the waves day and night. Also the villa was the last building on that beach and after that it was a beautiful stretch of wilderness beach where you can take a walk or stay there all day completely undisturbed with nobody around. Overall it was amazing natural experience for us.
