Perfect Vacation Home with Exceptional Services! Our stay at Refugio Dourado was absolutely wonderful! The property was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed for a relaxing getaway. The serene surroundings and stunning views made it the perfect escape from everyday life. A special thanks to the host for recommending excellent car rental services, which made exploring the area so much easier. Also, the professional massage service they suggested was top-notch—truly a rejuvenating experience! From start to finish, everything was seamless, and the hospitality exceeded our expectations. It is equiped with washing mashine and hanger to dry clothese, juice maker and hand blender to make the best out of local fruits you can buy in shop or market. Local shop is just 5min walk apart, and has everything you might need for daily food supply.

I only stayed one night. Dinner and breakfast was served in the large dining area and had a wide variety of options, appealing and delicious. -- The staff went above and beyond to help with my last minute reservation. I had to wait for a short time and they provided me with temporary wi-fi access while I waited to check in. -- The location is beautiful, the pool and ocean are in competition for your attention. There is a boardwalk behind the property that invites strolling early in the morning or into the evening, offering views of the sky worth capturing in photos.

we loved our stay at Sentido. Everything was great, the room was large and comfy, the breakfast was unbelievable, it has many options very fresh and very tasty. We went to the gym, took some classes even, were swimming in the indoor pool since it was winter and it was too windy for the one outside. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable, the staff was super friendly, helpful. We loved everything here, we'll be back

    Great place to explore the East of the island , Machico is a...

    Great place to explore the East of the island , Machico is a relaxed version of Funchal. Good beach for swimming and good restaurants. The east, except Sam Lauranco, is little explorer and all the better for that. It is our favourite part of Madeira, much like the island was when we first came 40years ago. Walk the small! Alvarez with no other walkers in sight, bliss.
