The apartment is very clean with great amenities. Enough cooking appliances for basic meals and a comfortable lounge and dining area. The bed is comfortable and there is plenty of hanging space for your clothes. Staff a super friendly and helpful. The apartment is on a pedestrian road full of excellent restaurants and is a 2 minute walk from the ferry over to the city. Parking is easy and very cheap and safe. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Except for Cristo Rei, Almada was not explored. It was to accommodate 2 day trips 1) Lisbon 2) Sintra/Cascais. Meals were eaten at home or brown bag due to food allergies. The tram and bus system - within walking distance.
I booked a privilege room on 7th floor it had a coffee station which I thought was a good idea I checked in at 3pm and checked out at12 the next day nothing on that table had been changed in the complete day bad situation.Breakfast scrambled eggs and beans were cold who gave this hotel 4 stars
A great stay away from Lisbon AND still within close distance. Where you can feel part of the country without the tourist crowd. Easy access to lisbon. GREAT restaurants (seafood / shellfish) You are on the Cristo Rei side of the Tejo River. Highly recommend.
Elsa is such a wonderful host, very helpfull and friendly. The accommodation is great, nearby shops, restaurants, beautifull beachs at just 10 min. drice, close to Lisbon touristic attractions and only 30 min. from the airport. Besides all that, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe, and the neighbours are very helpful and welcoming. I recommend and for sure I will come back.
There is an elevator at the cliff (with security at night time) that takes you from the old town, down to the water (free), where there are two great restaurants with views of the bridge and Lisbon. Perfect at sunset! Almada is very quiet at night, not touristy, and feels like a small town in some parts. Ferry takes 15mins to cross (around 30mins including your time to wait for the ferry/docking/unloading etc). Ferry docks in Lisbon at Cais do Sodre (very central) with immediate access to Cascais train/Lisbon metro/trams and across the street from Time Out Market. Almada is great place to stay if you want a more local feel, quiet, away from tourists and don't mind a ferry commute back/forth to the city (I have no advice on driving the bridge in to Lisbon. I only used public transportation).
Cacilhas is part of Almada at the south bank of the river Tago. Lisbon, on the north bank is easily reached by ferry in 10 minutes. It gives you the feeling to stay in a village but you are still very close to the hustle and bustle of the city of Lisbon. So it is a ideal place a base for your trip to Lisbon
This was my last stay, (3 days), as I rested up in Lisbon having toured Portugal and Spain on a BMW Motorcycle for 21 days and it was a very pleasant surprise. Cosy little B&B in the Almada district across the river from central Lisbon. My host, Simon, was a wonderful gentlemen who took extra care to make one feel at home and comfortable. Great community with tons of cafes and bars in walking district and the ferry to historic Lisbon is a short walk and the only way to get to Lisbon. What fun!
I spent four nights at the Alfonso Galo Guests Apartments II. I very much enjoyed this accommodation. It's in Almada, just a 5-minute walk from the tram stop. The area is quiet and there're supermarkets and shops nearby. The apartment has all you need for a short stay and the owners are always available and willing to give advice. Alfonso Galo Guests Apartments is a perfect choice if you want to discover Almada, Cacilhas and Lisbon too.
Almada
The location was perfect-out of the bustle of downtown Lisbon and just a fifteen minute ferry ride to Almada where there was everything we needed very close by. The apartment was clean and modern with nice decorative touches, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Best of all, Simao and Edgar are warm and hospitable hosts, very responsive and were a great source of information for the area.
Almada
A perfect stay in a very comfortable apartment. Just 10 minutes ferry to the Lisbon Center (public transport ticket, no traffic jams and operating from 5:00 am till late). Great apartment with all you can need. Good restaurants and small grocery shops few steps away. Outside private patio with barbecue facilities.
Location , near wonderful and inexpensive restaurants(like Mirrita), ease of access to enter (with electronic keys) and to be in Lisbon by ferry (within 15 minutes or less), balcony with views, spacious rooms, the kitchen and all the appliances. And host Elsa was diligent, caring and responsive too!
Almada
The hosts ensured the flat was spotlessly clean, and graciously set up with every imaginable convenience. The location was perfect for us. Public transportation, restaurants, and a small grocery were all very close by. And it had an absolutely stunning view of Lisbon. It was hard to leave!
Almada
Kumar was incredibly helpful and friendly. He helped me find things to do (since I booked last minute) and was always available to help. I rented a car, but most days I just used the ferry to cross the river and get into the city. It's a great budget option for visiting Lisbon.
Almada
Location was in the centre of the main route through Almada, which gave good access to local shops. Parking can be a little tricky, but there is a paid car park close by. Flat felt you were visiting friends, suited me perfectly, and was exceptionally clean.
Loved everything. It really felt like home for my time in Portugal, and right from the start of my stay. I hope this property is available during my next visit! I ended up extending my stay twice because I was so comfortable there.
The staffs were very friendly and the room they provided was above our expectations. Most interestingly the hotel staffs also surprised me with Birthday cake as I checked in on my birthday.
Almada
Great area. 20 min car drive from anyplace in lisboa. A nice 900m walk to National Sanctuary of Christ the King. Overall it was clean and great owner , even gave us a gift at begging.
