Located in the green surroundings of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, the Memmo Baleeira offers an outdoor pool with magnificent Atlantic Ocean views and rooms with private balconies. spectacular views from almost every room on the property. great location , outstanding staff, convenient parking and an incredible breakfast.
Located in the Southwest Algarve and Vicentine Coast Natural Park in Sagres’ center, this boutique hotel offers modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. The nearest beach is just 656 feet away. This is a great hotel. Relatively simple but nice and clean. I stayed twice and will definitely stay again when I return to the area. Breakfast area is in the basement - very nice but I was on a solo hiking holiday so ate my breakfast and left. If you were a party lingering over breakfast then maybe you would have a different requirement. The restaurant next door. Not sure if it is part of the hotel is not great. There are better places in town. But all that said I left the hotel feeling that I had received excellent value for money....and very happy with the experience. With all the beautiful beaches in the area this could be a great base for a holiday.
Overlooking Mareta Beach, this modern boutique hotel in the heart of the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park offers a tropical palm garden with a sundeck and hot tub. beautiful view, beautiful location, beautiful clean spacious rooms!
Located in a coastal village, Casa Azul Sagres - Rooms & Apartments is a 5-minute walk from sandy beaches in Sagres. It offers spacious rooms with balconies and free Wi-Fi is available. Everything! staff were amazing as was the room and the breakfast.
Just 164 feet from Tonel Beach, Apartamentos Turisticos offers free Wi-Fi and bright accommodations with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Sagres Point is an 8-minute walk away. The bedroom was a good size and everything needed was there. Definitely would stay again. The location is great and the ladies at the reception were lovely.
Located a 5-minute walk from Mareta Beach, Pontalaia offers apartments with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the Atlantic Ocean or Sagres. Guests can benefit from a gym and sauna. Beautiful view, great location, and the staff was excellent.
Featuring bright rooms and apartments with a large terrace, Apartamentos Atalaia is only a 5-minute walk to the beach of Sagres on the Algarve Coast. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Beyond any words and due to kind-hearted nature of George, the owner of the place, we loved it. George was very helpful and always beside to recommend us things around. We are very grateful!!! Just more heating device if you arrive in January would be more than needed cause the room was spacious enough, and our heating device wasn’t quite powerful for us to feel warmer. Many thanks for your care George
There's a great Indian Restaurant in the town. Gorgeous food. Well worth walking too. Lots of little bars and restaurants on the main strip on the road that runs parallel to the beach. We left early in the morning and there was a bakery down a back street that was open early for coffee and baked goods. Surfy vibe in the town.
It is not a big city/town, therefore, it was so quiet and relaxing. All beaches were not crowded. Sunset watching is wonderful! You can enjoy many things - surfin, diving, hiking, bike tour, .... Seafood was excellent, and foods (at supermarket) were low price, in average. (depends on what you buy) According to local people, you should not miss eating sweet potatoes (local products).
I am kind of person who know Sagres for a long time, since in my younger age i went to sagres 1 month per year for 15-20 years :) But on nowadays Sagres changed a lot, its a beach village great to relax, going to the beach and doing surf if thats something that you like. Locals are very pleasant and normally like to help travellers, in the past they were not that supportive but i believe time changes the mindset. About food, since they have daily fresh fish i advise you to eat fish, ideally regional food, it worths the price. If you prefer meat you will have it, but the quality normal, nothing fancy.
The beach was beautiful but it was extremely windy /chilly when we were there and a lot of places cafés /beach bar closed at 19.30 which was very disappointing. We visited end of June and were told that holiday season starts in August so if you want a quiet weekend away its fine.
I found Sagres a fascinating town. Just touristy enough to keep it interesting, but it still has a "local" vibe to it. It has shops, cafes, restaurants and bars with everything you could wish for and there are so many gorgeous beaches in the area.
Well for me I think you need transport, a car or motorbike as its at the last place on the Algarve and some distance from the nearest city Lagos. But if its a walking holiday you are looking for then you could not pick a better spot. You have some of the best restaurants in the area. plus other within a few miles. Also a large supermarket in Sagres.
The house is new, furnished with IKEA, and well kept. It has everything you need for a long stay -- dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, etc. House has two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. Great water pressure! There's no air conditioning, but it was never hot inside. There's a nice table with a bench outside, perfect to have family dinners or enjoying drinks after a hot day. Parking space is enough for two cars. The location feels safe. Bonus tip -- ask the owner for a tuk-tuk ride around Sagres.
Spacious room with great view and sound of the ocean , very clean , although a family resort my partner and I travelled without kids but we found the resort very quiet with no loud kids. Beautiful beach and no motor jet sky allowed or motor boat close to shore a plus indeed just simple paddle board . Very happy with our staying .
Nice rooms - we had a 2 bedroom suite which is a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen / living area and interconnected hotel room attached - great for privacy when traveling as a family or group. Views from rooms are great. Breakfast was amazing as were the staff. Price paid for room vs quality was good. Parking available onsite.
The hotel is located right at the entrance of the town, 2 mins away from the beach and close to all bars and restaurants. Room was very new and beautiful! The breakfast was also very good. Parking was plentiful and free around the area. If going to Sagres this is the place I would definitely recommend you stay in!
Room could have had something to sit on. Ours faced the street, quiet but a bit small. Staff was super nice. Very friendly, discreet but personal and helpful. Beautiful facilities and nearby pool bar for hotel guests. Excellent drinks at the pool bar as well as great bartenders!
Fantastic location overlooking beautiful Mareta beach. Cool infinity pool and comfortable bar area. Our room was very spacious with a nice private patio. The breakfast was fine and, although delivered in a basement, you could bring it up to the coffee bar patio upstairs.
This was one of the most cozy places that I have ever been. Chris and the guys were really helpful. The best beach of Sagres (in my opinion) is just 3 minutes walking. The breakfast is also really good. I'd definitely love to go back!
This was a lovely place…very comfortable and accommodating in every way. Location in walking distance to most of Sagres. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
There is no other appartment closer to one of the nicest beaches in Portugal (Tonel Beach) than this one. The location and staff are more than excellent.
Small, but very comfortable appartment with all necessary equipment for self catering, located in a quiet area of Sagres. Extremely helpful host
Very unique location to see the spectacular view of Sagres. We love the historical feeling of the hotel. Best place to choose in Sagres.
Well located in Sagres. Rooms are spacious. Nice to have a balcony although mine faced the car park so not the best view.
