Located in the Southwest Algarve and Vicentine Coast Natural Park in Sagres’ center, this boutique hotel offers modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. The nearest beach is just 656 feet away. - directly at the beach - the pool view is amazing - great cocktails at the pool bar - Bruna is awesome! She is kind and has made great recommendations all around Sagres & mixes the best cocktails :)
Overlooking Mareta Beach, this modern boutique hotel in the heart of the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park offers a tropical palm garden with a sundeck and hot tub. I loved this place, the location is perfect, the view is spectacular, I’m really in love with this place 😍
Located a 5-minute walk from Mareta Beach, Pontalaia offers apartments with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the Atlantic Ocean or Sagres. Guests can benefit from a gym and sauna. Large two bedroom apartment was perfect. The balcony over looked the pool and we could see the ocean in the distance. A thoughtful goodie basket awaited us and the kitchen had everything we needed. The staff was wonderful and as a bonus there was a friendly pool cat 🐈 which gave the property a homey touch.
Just 164 feet from Tonel Beach, Apartamentos Turisticos offers free Wi-Fi and bright accommodations with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Sagres Point is an 8-minute walk away. Very spaciuos apartment. Big balcony with a nice view. Perfect location, few minutes from the best beach.
Featuring a terrace, Sagres Sun Stay - Surf Camp & Hostel is located in Sagres in the Algarve region, less than 0.6 mi from Baleeira Beach and 1.2 mi from Fortress of Sagres. The place was neat with good facilities and the staff is very kind and helpful.
In December, the day warm but there are cloudy times too. The wind can be cool but when the sun shines and sky blue, it’s heavenly after some cold wet weather in northernnsoain. The town has a lovely relaxed surfy vibe. Beaches are pristine
Sagres is a very good centre for surfers on the w facing beaches and bird watchers are drawn to Cabranosa especially for the autumn migration. Beyond that the town itself has little to commend it. A day would probably be sufficient to see all that it has to offer.
Do not book this hotel! They're thieves. They knew that Germany was restricted from going there because of COVID19, and when I booked this hotel, there was NO cancellation option for booking it. They never tried to accommodate my multiple requests to change the dates to a later date, nor would they refund the over 1200 Euro that I spent to reserve this place. When you call to talk to reservations, the phone rings for 2 minutes or more, and then automatically hangs up on you. The emails they wrote me were just as cold. I finally had to talk to the front desk staff and ask them to pass a message to whomever is at reservations to call me back after multiple calls almost a week prior to my check in date. I never got to use the place and so I will say to EVERYONE...STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!! They're thieves! Stay far away and never go here!!!
Sagres is a truly special place; small but perfectly formed. On Portugal's southwestern tip, it is surrounded by beaches -- from family friendly bays to big surf breaks -- cliffs and all the natural beauty of the Algarve. The village has a huge range of amenities: surf and other outdoor shops and guides; great restaurants, serving super-fresh food from the ocean and the land; funky little bars and coffee shops; and all the services you need if you're living out of a van or in a five-star resort. At the same time, you can walk everywhere and park easily almost all the time, summer aside. Around Sagres, there are endless places to explore in the natural park and beyond: the Algarve and Alentejo coastline, inland valleys and villages, the mountains of Monchique and Foia, as well as Lagos, Aljezur and beyond.
Great beaches for surfing. That's about it. As a town it has little to offer and I can imagine that it is even less attractive during normal peak season. Would not go there again other than for surfing.
Great town away from the main tourist throngs. Lots of hippy-dippy surfy-dude types around - living the ZEN lifestyle that is so prevalent around Sagres. If you can't chill out here - you are a lost cause.
Great staff, location and apartment. They offered everything we needed which can be quite some extras when travelling with baby. Staff and owners were very nice and helpful with everything. And the place is great for just spending some hours on the terrace or the patio and have the kids play around. For us another plus: Just 10 minutes walk to reach Sagres' main beaches or almost any of the bars and restaurants in town - yet it is super quiet with just some birds singing in the morning. Would definitely come back
I arrived at sunset and the views from the property were stunning, overlooking the water, very inviting and welcoming. I was in a room on the ground floor ( handicap accessible), location is quiet, many restaurants around the hotel, the next morning it was a wonderful walk to Sagres view point and literally a walk down the street to Mareta beach which is very nice. I wish I had stayed more days here!
Great place, short walk to the beaches, shops, bars. It issituated above the family restaurant where the food looked unbelievable and sadly we didn't manage to eat there during our stay. The facilities were brilliant, the shared kitchen is ample for the 5/6 rooms they have. Awesome coffee machine. We had a great stay and would 100% book again if we find ourselves in Sagres.
Lovely historic spacious hotel and comfy beds. We enjoyed the well appointed community spaces and delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location on the edge of town overlooking the Atlantic was fabulous and good for hiking or biking. Walkable to things in Sagres and the beach.
Seems like it one of the best hotels in Sarges. Close to the beach where you can swim, have a cute swimming pool with food&drinks. It is 15min walk to the end of Europe = fortress and maybe 20min to another beach to surf. I fell in love with Sarges generally speaking so would defo come back.
Room was spacious and comfortable. It had an electric kettle and plenty of cups and silverware. The pool area looked nice, but it was too cool to swim. Plenty of free parking and just across the street from Tonel Beach. Also within walking distance of the central part of town and restaurants.
Excellent staff who was helpful with all our questions. They also recommended us great surf courses in Sagres. Breakfasts were great and the comfortable bed as well. Location was nearby the beach and the center of Sagres. The big plus was a good playlist of the staff :) Totally recommend!
It’s my 3rd time at Sagres Sun Stay, I keep coming back because the accommodation, the facilities and the activities everything is always perfect and gives you the possibility to have fun and relax at the same time. And the staff is the best! I will definitely come back again!
This was one of the most cozy places that I have ever been. Chris and the guys were really helpful. The best beach of Sagres (in my opinion) is just 3 minutes walking. The breakfast is also really good. I'd definitely love to go back!
The location is perfect! It has a great italian restaurant and coffee cafe right next to it. We rented bikes at the hotel and rode to the lighthouse and around town! The balcony was just perfect with a great view of the ocean!
The hotel's location in Sagres is excellent. The shower in the bathroom gets a score 10 out of 10 although the hand wash basin is poorly designed: too wide, too shallow. The staff were super friendly. We will be back!
The owner checked us in and was super friendly. We stayed here during the "off season" so it was very quiet. Basic but clean rooms at a very affordable price. Would again if I'm in Sagres again.
Very nice hostel in Sagres, the facilities and staff were great. You can book surf lessons right there. Good location as well. The included breakfast is very good. Recommended!
Best standart in Sagres, balcony, kitchen, near supermarket, lovely beach and ocean..
Very good small hotel in Sagres. Nice big room with terrace.
Perfect location. 3 steps from the beach and part of the Fisherman's trail. Great place for surfing.
Nice little campground. I had my own bungalow. Had a nice little deck and lounge chairs
Extra apartment and very kind staff!
