IcelandNot my first stay with CitizenM, but my first time at this Washington, DC location. I spent two nights here and had a great experience. Everything was clean, modern, and worked perfectly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Georgetown and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the waterfront.

Me and my fiance love staying at difference hotlels for date nights and this is the only one we come back to. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious with a gorgeous view over the garden. There were all the amenities imaginable in the closet downstairs (irons, toiletries, extra towels, etc), and the kitchen was stocked with quite a few items as well.
Every member of the staff that we met was helpful and friendly, and it felt genuine too.
Obviously, the location is very hard to beat, but though it's absolutely great, - everything else was even better.

Very nice especially the area we stayed in by Military Rd. Most things were walking distance from our Hotel which was a great plus. The Metro bus service runs well into the night so, if you want to save on gas and travel public you have a lot of time to get around and return to your destination without having to worry about driving in traffic yourself. Can’t wait to return💖 Willie’s is a restaurant located inside the Embassy Suites it was amazing and the food was good We shopped at The Shops at Wisconsin Place which had a nice variety including a Total Wine and Traded Joes in the area TjMaxx as well. It was a great experience

Washington, D.C. was amazing! There is so much history and knowledge to gain. I was extremely impressed with how clean it is. Didn't see many homeless on my trip either. Driving around the city is CRAZY but once you figure out how it flows, there is nothing to it. The people we encountered were friendly and very helpful. If you ever visit, hit up Tony's Breakfast All Day! It's a grab and go place but the food is amazing!!!

Washington, DC is a beautiful and vibrant city, with an incredible mix of history, culture, architecture, museums, great restaurants, and international influence. The monuments are impressive, and areas like The Wharf and the Potomac waterfront are especially beautiful at sunset.
The downside is getting around. Drivers can be rude and seem to have a special love affair with their horns—sometimes honking feels like DC’s unofficial soundtrack! 😄 Pedestrians also need to be very alert around bikes and scooters, as some riders seem to forget that pedestrians have rights too. Clearer rules and stronger enforcement would make the city safer.
Despite that, DC is a fascinating, beautiful city with so much to experience and discover.

All the museums are free.
All the museums are free. The botanical gardens and conservatory is a must see! Make sure you get the free tickets for the capital tour and the library of congress. Get a park mobile app ready to go so you can do the street parking easily. Go to &pizza if you like pizza because it's amazing! The Lincoln Memorial is way cooler in person than you can imagine!

"Hidden" gem. Very interesting if you are into history. More to see than it catches the eye. Street food a little pricey but most of the museums and places of interest are free. Stuff are nice and welcoming. Remember not to bring food/drink when you visit the Capitol because they won't let you in with it and you will have to either gobble it up in the queue or just dump it.

The awas a fun festival happening while there that we were not expecting. We went to a Baseball and Soccer game while in town. Did a tour of the Capitol building, went through a Smithsonian, walked through a College campus, and visited Union Market.

I have been in this hotel many times before 8-10 years earlier and it has transformed in a mediocre hotel. The good French restaurant is gone and the bar has changed into an ugly cheap atmosphere location. The rooms are still nice and clean, but no bar. The lobby has lost its atmosphere and the elevators are dirty.
To be honest, this hotel needs a refit

Hotel Washington was in an amazing location. The view from the rooftop restaurant was the best. The rooms were great, had all necessary amenities and kept extremely clean. The lobby hot chocolate was such delight to have after a big day out in the cold exploring. This hotel exceeded expectations.

This hotel had old world charm with an Irish Pub attached. It was close to Union Station and the sights of Washington. We arrived early not expecting our room to be ready but they upgraded our room and let us settle in early.

Spotlessly clean hotel in a good location for exploring Washington DC. Pool was a bit on the small side but served it's purpose well in providing a refreshing break from the DC heat. The breakfast was also excellent.
