Hotel in Camden
Featuring a nightly campfire with s’mores, this Camden, Maine hotel offers free Wi-Fi and a free deluxe continental breakfast to its guests. It was the perfect place for my daughter and me! Everyone was helpful and friendly. The nighttime fire and s'mores were fun and delicious. The people around the fire were always friendly and accepting of our dog. It is a great place to stay with a pet. The grounds are beautiful and the walk to town is so easy and close. The breakfast is really good and the coffee is excellent - freshly ground beans. I really don't know that there is anything I would suggest to improve our stay there. I've never been to Maine before and just was fortunate to find this place. It had good reviews so we took a chance and were not disappointed. My daughter said several times to me that I made a great choice and she couldn't imagine having a better place to stay for dog friendly, location and amenities.

Located in Camden, a 4-minute walk from High Street Historic District, Whitehall provides accommodations with a bar, free private parking, a shared lounge and a garden. The location was wonderful and like stepping back in time. I spent my last evening walking to the historic downtown and back to an old grocery store that had been in business for 150 years. This hotel was even featured in the 1957 film "Peyton Place" and the town was the setting for it.

Located in Camden, a few steps from Camden Harbor Park and Amphitheatre, 16 Bay View provides accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. This Inn gets a A ++++++. FABULOUS. Our room was large, clean, well appointed, comfortable, pretty and had a gorgeous bathroom. It is located in town which was great as we could walk to our destinations. Beautiful, cozy bar area and the breakfast was much more than I could have expected, complete with homemade quiche. Having all that said, the BEST part of our stay was the gracious staff. Not only were they super friendly and helpful, they truly made you feel comfortable and at "home". Topped off with the never ending plate of warm chocolate chip cookies in the fireplaced lobby. Additionally, it was pet friendly. As we were missing our pups at home, we took great delight in hearing the occassional "woof" in the lobby. The staff completely nailed it on hospitality and we can't wait to go back soon. THANK YOU ALL

Guests at the Elms of Camden can enjoy an on-site garden, a shared living area and a multi-course breakfast each morning. James and Gary were exceptional hosts. Very friendly and informative, we felt immediately welcomed. They gave us great recommendations for dinner in Camden. Gary’s breakfasts were the highlight of our whole trip - absolutely delicious and a real treat. Not a criticism at all as the room is very well represented on the website, but just something to be aware of - we stayed in the Violet Room on the top floor with dormer ceilings and it may be a bit cramped for people taller than us (I’m 5’9”). All in all a really special stay and we would love to come back.

Downtown easily walkable. Many choices for dining and shopping. We went during shoulder season and not all restaurants and shops were open and if they were, hours were limited . Can easily see when in season things would get very crowded.
Camden is one of Maine's prettiest towns, it sits on the water and is surrounded by mountains, perfect! Downtown Camden is so picturesque with its harbor and cute little shops, so many from which to choose! Although the weather was not nice at all while we visited, we were able to get out and walk and loved that Camden had a fraction of visitors that it typically has!
The blackberry bed-and-breakfast was the best accommodations and the staff could not have been better. We did go to Natalie‘s restaurant the first night we arrived in Camden and we were turned away I believe it was because the group consisted of six Chinese people and one black man. That was very disappointing we did go back to Natalie‘s the next night and it was a big mistake on our part as the restaurant was not what it was height to be. It was misleading and overpriced
Shopping in the town could be done in an afternoon. Admiring the architecture could also be done in one afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed a three hour harbor cruise and wouldn't have wanted to miss it. If I traveled to this area of Maine again, I'd stay in a little larger village but travel to Camden for maybe a couple of days and nights. It is a beautiful little harbor village and extremely picturesque!
There are lots of little Mom and Pop shops within walking distance from many hotels/inns, and the people are super friendly. It's definitely a dog-lovers paradise with lots of fur friends to pet everywhere you go. The bagel shop and ice cream shops were our favorites.
Great coastal Maine town with great shops, scenery, and restaurants to choose from. Many historic inns to select from for accommodations. Highly recommend to visit in the off season (November through April).
A peaceful room right above the ocean..we could hear the waves lapping on the shore..delicious popovers and muffins for breakfast in a sunny, homey dining room, an encounter with a lovely traveling couple from Missouri who became our friends.. a sparkling view of the bay so beautiful in September.. close to our hike up My Battie and convenient for exploring the little coastal towns of Camden.. kind and helpful owner . We hope to return.
Camden
There was no breakfast, but it was not a problem. An independent restaurant was attached to the property, where we had a nice evening meal for not a lot of money. Camden was a nice town, and we found an Alladin's cave of a second hand bookshop, stacked from floor to ceiling, and run by an absolute gentleman. The motel/inn was a straight drive 2 minutes up the hill from the town, set amongst trees. Very pleasant.
Camden
The historic house was furnished with the most beautiful antiques and furniture. The owners, Kent and Dave, were fantastic hosts. The Inn has a max of 4 rooms for guests and we had access to the main rooms of the house and two porches. Dave made a gourmet breakfast which we enjoyed while talking with the other guests, as we sat at separate tables outside. This Inn is located in Camden, ME, which is an amazing town.

A picturesque harbor view from this waterfront hotel in downtown Camden. Walking distance to quaint shops and good restaurants. Hotel room was very comfortable with unique amenities such as a jacuzzi tub, well furnished sitting area and gas fireplace. A gourmet breakfast served in our room was delicious. A beautiful sunrise topped off a very pleasant stay!
The room was very cosy with a fireplace. Loved that! Balcony with nice view Very good bathroom with great shower (water could come form all the corners!) Nice bar where they made great cocktails Nice atmosphere in the hotel. Nice chairs to sit in. Xmas feeling. Good recommendation to go to a mountain and to go to a lobster place
