The SPA in the hotel, hands down the best massage/spa service I ever tried. Highly recommend getting the SPA packages. I took the Blissful 4 hour package which includes sauna, foot care, massage, massage, body scrub and beauty treatment. Plus snacks and light lunch. You can customize it. And we got an upgrade to the suit on our last night, the room was beautiful. The check-in process felt personal and welcoming. Definitely better than your standard hotel check ins.

If I could I would give this hotel 100 stars. This hotel was by far the best one I've stayed in in all of Vietnam. For the price, you cannot get anything better or even close! I can't believe everything that was included in top of thr service. The staff at thr reception were very friendly and helpful and spoke well English. On the lift to our room, I immediately realized how clean and shining thr mirrors were. While entering our room, the room AC was already on and I feel cool right away. The room was exactly like on the picture. Room and bathroom OMG clean, my wife was even surprised. The bed was super comfortable and room was huge!!! I loved that we got free laundry and feet cleaning services was included in the room. The hotel is in a quiet place great for peace and quiet fat enough from the walking street but close too.

It's a beautiful hotel. The room biggest than most. Quiet during the nights because is not on a party street. Very very comfortable and super clean. The bathroom very nice with a door for the shower. The tv works, the internet is fast. The customer service is the best part. Xuyen and JB were very helpful, they helped me with the bus to my other destination. They grab your suitcases from the cab to the room and vice versa. They even had a foot bath for us when we arrived from an afternoon out and we walked a lot so it was very nice. The free laundry is amazing too, they were very careful with my clothes. Close to everything. In the mornings there's an street food restaurant at the entrance and we had noodle soup there every morning, delicious. There's a nice dental office next to it, restaurants and places to eat and drink at very good price. That's all what you need.

This hotel is wonderful in every way. Excellent staff, great room (comfortable bed, spacious apartment with kitchenette, rain head shower with hot water and good water pressure), fantastic breakfast, ideal location, stunning lobby, beautiful pool, spa and fitness centre, and a great rooftop bar! We highly recommend the Mai House!

The room was very spacious and aesthetic. Beds were very comfortable, my kids enjoyed it very much. The place was very clean. The staff was very helpful when we needed assistance.     It was just another city in many ways but we did enjoy the markets. Cafe apartments are worth a visit but the food was disappointing on a Saturday night with multiple cafes sold out of food? Don’t go to Decoration Street - it was suggested on an instagram reel I saw. Seriously… avoid!!

    Lots to do and see!

    Lots to do and see! Saigon Opera house is always showcasing great theatrical performances and I watch the Bamboo Circus. walking down all of the streets as well as the history of the vietnam people, the war time locations.

    I really liked this city, there's so much to do and it is so...

    I really liked this city, there's so much to do and it is so cheap. Be careful of getting in taxis, use the app Grab, I was ripped off twice when I first got there by taxi drivers, once at the airport and a second time by working on meters, we are talking the difference between paying 1milion vietnamese compared with paying 40,000 on the app. Other than that I had a great time and would definitely go again.

    its a full on fantastic city. whatever you want or your needs are its there at a click of the fingers. from parting to chill. i will always be checking back into saigon ( sin city ) HMC. Food is delicious from pho to rice to noodles to bahn . few streets back of the main drag nicer and cheaper. easy to get around good walking or grab bike or car.

    I just arrived and will be there for some time.

    I just arrived and will be there for some time. My advice is not to stay in Quan 1 because many buildings are not fully accessible unless in big hotels. Many hotels are in lane ways behind shops and not accessible by cars. Taxis leave your luggage on the street and you trek your luggage through the laneways to your hotel. Some fancy hotels are actually located in these laneways and they have staff in front to carry the luggage.

    I stayed at Hotel Thanh Vinh for one week. The room was good for the price. The hotel is in a quiet area. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, they couldn't speak much English, but we managed fine by using Google Translate. The hotel is about 5km out from the centre and there are no tourists staying there, only Vietnamese. If you want to meet real people and experience the real Ho Chi Minh City its the place for you. If you want to get ripped off and be surrounded by tourists, stay in District 1.

Rooms are small but comfortable (given it is a city hotel) but you may not get a room with a window. Staff were super helpful & friendly and catered to our needs very well. Good value for money.
