Located a 13-minute walk from Taichung Train Station, The Way Inn offers 3-star accommodations in Taichung and features a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Room was very clean and comfortable. Receptionist was super responsive and helpful in answering our enquiries.

Located in Jiaoxi, a 16-minute walk from Jiaoxi Railway Station, Orient Luxury Hotel-Jiaoxi has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. Very professional and friendly staff, excellent breakfast, calming and relaxing hot springs, a private hot spring bath at our balcony with a magnificent view ( we stayed on 7th floor) was a bonus! The hotel provides a free bike rental and a free carpark, both very convenient for us. We did some shopping at their cosmetic minishop ( a herbal hand cream will remind me about this relaxing stay). Located in Taipei and with The Red House reachable within a 5-minute walk, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Taipei Ximen provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi throughout... The locker room to keep our bags and backpacks safely (with our own passcodes) before checking in or after checking out (had to catch a red eye flight), giving us the benefit of enjoying Taipei hands free. Hotel has a brand new feel. Polite and cheerful staff. The Taiwanese are always willing to help.

Located in Kaohsiung, a 10-minute walk from Formosa Boulevard Station, Fullon Poshtel - Kaohsiung provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.... Close to metro and night market, spacious and super clean rooms, very comfortable bed. The staff was extremely kind and the facilities (laundry room and a cafe where you can make yourself coffee and eat some biscuits from 3 to 9 pm) were amazing. Highly recommend the hotel and a trip to Kaohsiung (after Taipei our favorite place in Taiwan). Go hiking on the monkey mountain!
