We had the most wonderful honeymoon and retreat away from our kids and busy city life at this gorgeous hidden gem situated in Mapleton. The host - Rennee greeted us upon our arrival in the driveaway and her wonderful sons assisted us in carrying our luggage from our car to our room. We felt so welcomed and comfortable throughout. The host took the time to give us a lovely tour and have a chat with us. Responsive host to all our questions and gave lots of great recommendations. Easy check in and out. The host continued to go above and beyond throughout our whole stay, ensuring we had a wonderful honeymoon and stay at her BNB, leaving a lasting impression. The BNB itself is well equipped with the essentials and more, gorgeous details throughout and natural lighting, very clean, generous continental breakfast supplies in the fridge, super cosy and the couch was so comfy especially during rainy weather where I became a couch potato with the luxurious plush robes provided. This BNB truly sets the bar from other accommodation in the Hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast. The serenity in the mornings and evenings, overlooking Mapleton Falls. Photos of the view and surrounds simply do not give it justice at all! I loved the BNB so much that I booked another stay in a few months time, this time longer! Can't wait to return. Thank you again Rennee!

Taman Sari Luxury Private Pavilions - Pet Friendly Accomodation, hotel in Mapleton

Taman Sari Luxury Private Pavilions - Pet Friendly Accomodation in Mapleton provides adults-only accommodations with a garden, a terrace, and barbecue facilities.

Our stay at Taman Sari Luxury Private Villa Resort was brilliant. We spent one night there and were the highlight was the view - truly spectacular throughout the day! The attention to detail was impeccable, and I must give a huge shoutout to Nicole, our host, for her outstanding hospitality. She went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. Hot croissants for breakfast in the morning, a stocked fridge with everything you need, beautiful candles to burn - the list goes in! What's more, we were thrilled to bring along our dog, Harley, who absolutely adored the place (see pic). The gardens were so well kept and beautiful to walk through. Highly recommend, and we can't wait to go back!

Mapleton is a quiet area close to natural beauty. Not too far to travel for a light meal. Fish and chips great, meals at Mapleton Tavern. Coastal and country views. Good location for a base. Not too far to drive to Flaxton, Montville and onto Maleny.

Mapleton is one of a string of small villages along the Blackall Range ridge with access to lots of rainforest walks, long and short, lakes, cafes, shops, galleries and restaurants. The Mapleton Tavern had good food and was open on a Monday night when many other venues were closed. Mapleton is much smaller and quieter than its neighbours Maleny and Montville and a nice alternative with less passing tourist traffic.

Over several years both couples have visited Mapleton, Montville and Malaney and always included Eumundi Market on a Wednesday as part of each trip. Enough shopping for anyone, and for those with the O.B.E. (over bloody eighty) easily embraced, or ignored!

Mapleton is central to many tourist attractions e.g Australia Zoo, enjoyable drive along the range taking in Maleny through to Kenilworth for some dairy products and ice-cream at the Kenilworth Dairy and a scenic drive up to Mapleton via the Obi Obi Rd. Taking in the many of the falls, as well as the Maleny Cheese and Maleny Dairy Tours etc. A pleasant and short drive to coast.

We had a great weekend away here at Pencil Creek, the owner Phil was really welcoming and really helpful (he even dropped us off and picked us up) from Mapleton Pub on our first night so we could have a few drinks on our kid free weekend which is really kind of him to do for us. It had everything we needed to cook dinner in the cottage on the second night. Was relaxing/cosy with the woodfire in the cottage. Would go back again, we had a great time, and its close by to all the Hinterland attractions which was great. Would recommend.

Fantastic!! One of my favourite getaways ever. Don’t be deterred by the low number of reviews - this place is brand spanking new. I’m biased because it’s where we stayed, but I think Evergreen is the best cabin - it faces directly into the nature reserve at the back of the property. The cabin is so spacious, the bathtub is massive, the fireplace is so convenient and easy to use, and the property is as close as possible to Mapleton National Park. Also Montville is only 10 minutes away!

As you arrive to the beautiful property, you receive a very warm and personalised welcome from Willy. She has such a great attention to detail and the room and surrounds were presented immaculately. We particularly loved the outdoor chairs and lovely complimentary breakfast. The views are stunning and you really feel like you are the only ones around. Just a short drive into the town of Mapleton where there is a nice selection of restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic. Tezz was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The grounds are beautiful with a great view. There’s a nice walking trail as part of a great walk directly from the property. Close to Mapleton which has an IGA, tavern and few restaurants, just a small drive further to Montville which is great for arts, crafts and more restaurants, or a bit further but still fairly close is Nambour and Maleny. You will not be disappointed here.

This property is located in a quiet location close to Mapleton township. We had a lovely view out over the valley and the rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable with ALL the amenities you could wish for! The refrigerator was well stocked with milk, juice, bread, croissants, jams, butter etc and breakfast cereals, coffee capsules... were also supplied. The owner, Renee, and her sons looked after us so very well.

Beautiful breakfast, freshly made to order. alternative cereals and divine coffee expresso. The shared area was great space to meet the other guests, which I miss when I go to hotels, its very impersonal. Very close to shops, for rural property. loved the renovations and will be stealing a few for my new home.

Reception was very friendly. Facilities were super nice. It was a nice feature that everything was off the grid. Definitely enjoyed the double patio bath tubs with a sunset view. Would recommend to others if visiting the area, especially with Mapleton National Park just down the road that has a nice lookout.
