Central location, beautiful accommodation;everything was within walking distance. Fremantle Markets, IGA, wine bars, pubs, movies, etc. Accommodation was awesome. Two taps for water and sparkling water in the kitchen. Also next door to Emily Taylor's which I recommend.

The location is perfect. Very friendly. There was a delicious breakfast and a free drink and snacks at the bar next door at sunset. The rooms are new and the bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately we were there on Monday to Wednesday when the town is very quiet and the famous market closed-only open on weekend. Also the art gallery was closed as they were preparing for another exhibition-would have been nice to have been forwarned to avoid going there.

Fremantle is a very walkable place.
Fremantle is a very walkable place. It's mostly flat and most things are within a 1 -2 km walk. We did not have a car and did not miss it. High Street is the place for cafes and shops. Bathers beach is great for restaurants and sunsets.
The pace in Fremantle is slow, which suited us. We had a wonderful 4 days here and would recommend Fremantle to anyone wanting to experience the friendliness of Western Australia and enjoy that small town feel.
Fremantle Markets is also brilliant.

It’s a nice historical place where it’s also convenient to board the ferry to Rottnest Island .
The Foods & Beverage scene is very vibrant , not just within Fremantle but also the neighbouring areas like Cottesloe .

Fremantle has a warm, nostalgic place in my heart but over the years it has become decidedly tatty. Yes, it has history to offer but the general atmosphere in the town is one of cafés, eateries and non-descript shops offering uninteresting souveniers.
The Fremantle town council is badly in need of a strategy to create a town that serves the broader community beyond a place to drink coffee any time in the week

Lots of cafes and restaurants, food was great.
Lots of cafes and restaurants, food was great. Markets were amazing and worth visiting. The beach was small in Fremantle but very clean. There is a great atmosphere and it is very safe to walk around with good transport links to Perth.
Fabulous quirky modern boutique hotel. Perfect location for exploring Fremantle on foot. Small but very well designed, clean and comfortable room with everything we needed including beautiful high quality toiletries. Staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was perfect for us with home made muesli and preserves, fruit juice, yogurt, tea/coffee and a choice of quality breads. Happy hour 5-6pm each evening was very welcome with a free glass of wine, cheese and nibbles.
Quest is the perfect location to explore Fremantle , it is in walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, must see sites and the water. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean. The hotel itself offers great facilities including a laundry and complimentary pushbikes that you can use to explore the area. The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful when sharing their knowledge of the area. Really loved our stay and will definitely stay again
The staff members who booked me in and also out were genuinely friendly and helpful, not fake at all which is a pleasant surprise to what I've been experiencing in most other places. The A frame donga was huge and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable. Value for money when you consider how close to Fremantle it is and you get secure parking for free, unlike all the hotels who charge extra for parking.
We loved the location, very close distance to all the bars and cafes of South Fremantle. A quiet spot as long as the neighboring rooms are quiet. There's a noise curfew from 8pm to 8am so you can always contact the hotel staff if neighbours are noisy. We only had issues with this on the first night and there was a good, quick response the following morning from the friendly staff.
The building is beautiful. Suzanne (manager) was so kind, friendly and helpful. Great to have a chat with. Delicious breakfast. Fantastic decor and styling. Love the old meets the new vibe. Great location in Fremantle to station, wharf and main attractions of the city. Highly recommend.
I would definitely stay at this hotel whenever I visit Perth again. In love with the healthy and delicious morning brekky 👌
Everything is above par. Also rooms and washrooms are clean and sparkling. Also you get parking on the property. It's a very nice accommodation 🤗
Terrific hotel in the middle of Fremantle. Marco the manager and all the staff are exceptional and the family atmosphere makes this place special. The evening complimentary wine and cheese around the courtyard fire is a nice feature. Would highly recommend this hotel
The staff were very friendly. The location is absolutely perfect for visiting all those great little restaurants and bars on this side of Fremantle and also across the bridge in North Fremantle. Good value rooms. Private lock up parking. Comfortable beds.
A great location just across from some of the best bars and restaurants in Fremantle. The hotel is extremely spacious, has a very good bar and serves a decent, if limited, menu. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the wifi was very good.
This gem is a labour of love for its owner, who has renovated an old building in the heart of Fremantle to a very high standard- reminiscent of a European hotel! Comfortable, love the little verandah and very easy to stay in for a while! Perfect!
Great location
Stayed 4 nights, October 2023

The location was excellent for us. It was easy walking distance to the Cappuccino Strip and to Beaches south of Fremantle, the the Yacht club, Round House etc. Hosts were fantastic. The room was fine. Price was good.
Beautiful historical building. Spacious rooms, very comfortable, nice extras in the room. I loved the historical books on Fremantle and Perth. The art around the building was a treat too.
