Ramada Plaza Shanghai Pudong Airport is located 0.8 mi from Pudong International Airport. It provides free shuttle service to and from Pudong International Airport and it is about a 3-minute drive.

The location is the best, because it is only a 6 minute free shuttle bus ride away. A previous time I stayed at a different hotel and it was almost 40mins away. There is a large workout room in the basement, and the breakfast was outstanding with many choices hot & cold, fresh fruit, made to order omelets, and much, much more.

This was my 1st time I stayed here after the pandemic. The hotel has been completely renovated and everything looks so new. The hotel is about 10-15 min drive from Pudong airport and the hotel provides pickup/drop off service every hour. The front desk and the house keeping staff are very nice and helpful. They even helped me to arrange the fast delivery service. The breakfast was very good and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Shanghai

A Beacon of Modern China

A beacon of 21st-century China, Shanghai is modernizing at an electrifying rate. Nowhere is this more evident than the skyscraper-punctuated Pudong commercial district. The most distinct - the Oriental Pearl Tower - has a ball at the top and bottom and has fabulous city views. A number of towers also twist as they go up – a feat of contemporary engineering.

This side of the city also houses Shanghai Pudong International Airport, while Shanghai Hongqiao Airport is over the Huangpu River in the Puxi district. An area of older and less dominating buildings, Puxi features the elegant Bund area whose varied architecture includes a surprising array of Art Deco.

With a choice of shopping centers and small shops beneath brightly lit neon signs just like Chinatowns across the world, Shanghai shopping is fantastic.

Other must-see Shanghai attractions include the wonderful Shanghai Museum and the Jade Buddha Temple. For a break from the hustle and bustle, head to the Yuyuan Gardens, the beach or peaceful Zhujiajiao Water Town in the west.

Whether you choose one of the Shanghai hotels, apartments or hostels, take time to go to a tea house, a Chinese institution. Also worth sampling are Shanghai hairy crab, steamed dumplings and the freshwater fish so popular with locals.

The city was very clean and modern.

The city was very clean and modern. The people were so friendly and you feel very safe here. People are extremely honest. The river boat cruise was awesome and there are lots of cool markets. The food is amazing, so much to see and just a beautiful city to look at. Also you can see in the evening people dancing, practicing Tai Chi etc. Everyone seems really happy and it is very affordable too in terms of food, accommodation etc. It totally exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend Shanghai to any travellers for a great, fun holiday.

With only 2 nights and 1 day spent in Shanghai, it went fast!...and exceeded our expectations for our first China visit. The overall feeling was that Shanghai has a good vibe! Took a bus tour at night to see the bright lights on either side of the River, walked along the Bund, ate out (many choices!)..can recommend 'The Coffee Shop' for tasty food. Museums book up, so trust the Tourist guide when it says 'you have to book'!! Did get into the Shanghai History Museum which was incredibly well done and interesting. We took taxis which were reasonably priced...and the Maglev from the Airport...and it was easy to walk from our hotel.

Found it difficult getting around due to most people not speaking English. Got lost several times at metro station and had not realized we had to change trains, but was happy that there was a voice announcements in English advising of the approaching stations. The underground market at Science and technology were quite an experience as one had to haggle alot and get better prices.

the hotel is very near Shanghai Pudong airport (about 6 km so with DIDI something like 10 min by car) and this is a big plus. In the area around not a lot to do but if you need some food there are a couple of simple restaurants very close by the hotel. Hotel room good size and clean
