I liked the live piano music every day at breakfast. The musicians are very talented and play with passion. It was a really amazing stay. Fantastic stuff working at the reception and at the restaurant. Everyone at this hotel is ready to help you in any second. Starting from the cleaning people and finishing with the cooks at the restaurant. Everyone at this hotel knows more than 2 or 3 languages and can always find someone who can translate or translate by themselves. I really liked the attitude of the staff. The warmth in the attitude of every single person who is working there. This hotel made me feel like home and I would definitely come back.
I think some separate applause should be given for the cleaning staff at the lobby, people who are working at the reception at night, kitchen and restaurant staff at the ground floor. All of these people are extremely professional. They helped me infinity of times during my stay and always were greeting with smiles. They were ready to answer any questions about the food or give some recommendations, find pharmacy e.t.c.
The food was very delicious, I loved homemade cookies and cakes. Somehow simple eggs tasted amazing too. I think that cooks care very well about the menu. Also, all the spilled drinks or empty machines were immediately refilled and cleaned.
To summarize, all the work is extremely well done. Awesome job, inclusivity (they also hire people with disabilities). I would say that this hotel has high level moral values and this fits me very well. It's a nice place to stay and I would definitely choose it again.

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully, the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale facade of this Bohemian city intact.
Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.
Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.
The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

It was still crowded, despite not being high season for tourists. I enjoyed walking around the streets, taking in the atmosphere. Local transport is free for people over 65 (you may need to show photo id) and the tram & bus network is excellent.

Not really suitable for disabled people All cobblestones on roads and footpaths. Trams have very high steps to get on so is very difficult for people with mobility problems. Accessability of public toilets is also a problem -mostly downstairs

All around was perfect from strangers in the street , shops, restaurants, Uber car service, Pharmacy ect… That was the good experience. The bad experience was at the airport by the security for hand luggage. They were very rud, fancy my power bank battery as it looks elegant shape and powerful 50mAh. They took it away with the wire. Nothing helped. I banged them as it’s a present from a friend and it’s dear to me but nothing. They were laughing at my face, couldn’t care less. Very upsetting. Must say that it really put me off of visiting again in Prague. Last year they were also Nasty to me. Very very Upsetting
The building and room were excellent, beautiful, clean, and historic. The building is right next to the Charles Bridge giving easy walking access to castle hill. It is also a quick walk from the old town square. The bus runs right outside and the metro station is only a few blocks away. The breakfast may be the best complimentary breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect. Can’t say enough good about this hotel.
Everything was nice and spotless clean, the smart TV is very useful for a night in. All instructions were communicated properly and it’s easy to navigate. It’s like a hotel like Apartment. It is near the center and it has a small shopping mall next to it(with lots of coffee shops) and it’s also near Wenceslas Square where it’s really convenient to explore from there and you’ll end up in the Old Town Square. It’s sufficient and even the views are awesome!
The room was great -very spacious and comfortable mattress- and the location of the hotel is perfect! Super close to the old town square! The area is full of bars, restaurants, and ice cream shops, and the metro stop Mustek is literally a 3 minutes walk away. The wifi was a bit of an issue- the signal was very poor. Everyone working in the hotel is very friendly and helpful.
Location was great. Very clean and the room was gorgeous. Staff very friendly and helpful with directions and public transport. I bought a 24 hour public transport ticket from reception which was useful. Area was quiet despite being opposite a metro/tram stop. Grocery store and coffee shop 2 mins walk away and easy to get to old town square from the hotel.
The hotel was beautiful inside. Clean, comfortable and with an amazing view! It is close to the Charles Bridge and right at the bottom of the path to the Castle and Cathedral. I usually stay in the old town square but this was quieter and just as convenient. There is also a shop in the lobby and the receptionist was very helpful.
The hotel is located in a quieter area but still only 15 minute walk to old town square. located right around the block from a 4 story mall (Palladium) and close to a Starbucks. There is an excellent Argentinian restaurant located next door with cozy atmosphere as well as a nice late night wine bar with great selection of wines
Everything was great. The staff was very pleasant, the room clean and tidy. Parking in the hotel garage is available for an additional fee and cannot be reserved, so you need to be lucky to find a free spot. The breakfast is excellent. The location is perfect, half a minute from Powder Gate and 3 minutes from Old Town Square.
The Josephine Old Town Square Hotel is middle of the price range in Prague’s old town. The hotel staff, especially Iana was very polite and efficient. The hotel itself is very central, clean, and attractive. The extras in the room including a bottle of red wine, as well as tea and coffee making facilities are great!
The location is good and approximately a 10 minute walk from old town square. The hotel is nice and clean with good food and nice, spacious rooms which are kept maintained and replenished during your stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful with knowledge of the city and nothing is too much trouble.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel is close to the main train station and to the old town square and despite being at a very busy intersection the room was very quiet. No street noise. Breakfast was ok too. The hotel itself it's beautiful, well lit and nicely decorated.
The hotel is located in a pretty square which is adjacent to old town square. The location is very convenient, and the view from the room's windows is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. This hotel is absolutely recommended.
The location of this hotel fantastic, right in old town square. Because the hotel is small the staff know all the guests so they keep out people trying to use the facilities, therefore it’s relatively quiet even though it’s one of the busiest parts of Prague.
Convenient location. Few minutes away from 2 different metro stations as well as tram stop. Breakfast had good selection and good quality food. A few minutes walk away from Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Many restaurants near by the hotel.
The Hotel is located near of old town square of Prague. It´s close to a bus station.
The accommodations are great and you can use the SPA, which was always clean. Bring your swimwear to enjoy this!
The breakfast is great and it wasn't crowded.
Location was excellent right off of the Old Town square, yet Hotel Dar is tucked away on a quaint side street. We dined at the hotel restaurant and excellent breakfasts each morning. We also loved the rooftop terrace!
The hotel has an excellent location very close to the old Town Square. Breakfast is nice. If you are lucky enough to get a room on the highest floors you yet nice views of the city. The staff is kind and friendly.
We had a perfect stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.
And the location of the hotel is outstanding. Just around the corner of Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square.
Perfect location only 2 minutes walk to the Old Town Square. Very quiet despite a room overlooking the main entrance to the hotel and close to the elevators. Comfortable bed.
