Perfect 4 night stay for a family of 3 with everything we needed, including tea, coffee and cookies, and food for breakfast. Our host went out of her way to make our stay comfortable, including providing the special bread and milk we prefer. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds, and the living area, kitchen and bathroom were ideal for 3 people. The quiet village location was delightful whilst being very convenient for visiting Durham by car or bus. We took our dog, who enjoyed local walks. Our host was friendly and welcoming.
