Paignton is a traditional engish seaside resort, ideal and safe for families. It has a pier with lots to do, a multi view cinema, theatre, bars etc. but also at Preston beach there is space to play ball games on the large green behind the beach. Both beaches are safe for young families with soft golden sand and good facilities. Paignton is a beautiful town with lots to do. The beaches are well kept and beautiful. There is a pier with amusments. There is plenty to see and do nearby including a steam train and boat tour. Sorry to say but it is a bit run down town. very few restaurants to choose from . small main street . seafront very nice good walk great place as a base to get to Torquay & Brixham . bus or ferry's great day trip to Dartmouth steam train.
