Clean and tidy, homely feel. Biscuits and tea/coffee provided and milk in the fridge which was lovely. Gorgeous area too. Communication about the property via email was excellent.

Nestled in the charming North Cotswolds village of Blockley, Squire cottage is the perfect self catered historic/ period home to escape to. This cosy cottage is ideally situated in the heart of the village of Blockley close to the village green & amenities and perfectly located for visiting the beautiful towns & villages of the North Cotswolds, all of which are within easy reach. The cottage sleeps up to 4, in 2 bedrooms, plus baby in travel cot. The cottage is tucked away down a small pedestrian only pathway providing peace and tranquility away from main roads. On street parking is available at the end of the pathway on the roadside for free. Please note during busier periods you may need to walk slightly further to park your car, however Blockley isn’t a large village and there are no parking charges or fees. We will provide details of the nearest places to park in the cottage access details shortly before arrival. #cotswolds #countryside #village #periodfeatures

We own two, two bedroom properties that we holiday let in the Cotswolds in the UK (Squire Cottage in Blockley and Grade II listed Slatters Cottage in Bourton on the Hill). See our direct websites. Guests have full access to the whole property which has its own private entrance and garden. As hosts we are contactable throughout your stay should you need us.
Blockley is an unspoilt Cotswold village midway between Chipping Campden and Moreton in Marsh about 3 miles (5 km) to the North west. The village is in the heart of the North Cotswolds making all the local towns, villages and tourist attractions of the Cotswolds easily accessible. As the village is away from main roads, it avoids the heavy tourist traffic and so visitors can get a real sense of rural life, enjoying the rolling countryside which falls within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The peaceful Blockley Brook attracts tourists and locals as a quiet place to relax in the warmer months. This brook, together with the other brook in the village, played a part in Blockley's history as there were once 12 water mills which provided work in various industries over the centuries, including silk production and flour milling.
