We are thrilled to open our hotel to ALL guests again. Hawthorn Restaurant and club lounge are fully open now. Breakfast is served as full English buffet. Mineral House spa, swimming pool, gym and steam room are open now. Pre-booked appointment is not required. Spaces are available on first come, first served basis. Children Swim Time (0-15 years old) is 8:00 to 11:00 and 16:00 to 19:00. Offering a city view, each room at the hotel features a TV, a telephone, air conditioning and a mini-bar. The private bathroom includes either a bath or a shower, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Extras include ironing facilities, a work desk and a safety deposit box. Hawthorns on-site restaurant offers brasserie-style Northern cuisine that is freshly-prepared and locally-sourced. The Gin Bar specializes in gin based cocktails as well as a number of classic cocktails. The hotel offers nine state-of-the-art, conference and banqueting rooms with the uniquely shaped Stephenson Suite. Metro Radio Arena is 1.2 miles away and St. James' Park, home to Newcastle United Football Club, is also less than a mile away. Newcastle Airport is a 34-minute journey by train from the property.
