The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite, a ground-floor double, a twin and a single, serviced by a bathroom and a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is a communal outdoor space with bench, and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a travel cot. You'll find a shop and a pub in 1.5 miles. For a rural escape to Cumbria, book High Stile. Within driving distance is the town of Keswick, which boasts a number of shops and restaurants, along with miniature golf, parks, the Pencil Museum and the famous Theatre by the Lake. With Derwent Water and Honister Pass close by, the village is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists, and is in a superb location to discover all of the Lake District.
